This is Joe Bastardi's Saturday Summary, posted on the "free side" of Weatherbell. The worst is yet to come after the 25th of January. I truly feel sorry for the people back east.

I’m really glad I have a small well built home heated by nat gas.
I’d go broke heating a couple of my past residences.
Joe Bastardi’s weekly weather post
We built earth-sheltered ICF home and shop. It has in-floor geothermal heating with wood burners in both structures. Snug as a bug in a rug, but boy, has it been cold! “It’s so cold the democrats have their hands in their OWN pockets.”
Old joke, but is it ever not funny?
Sounds like an impressive setup.
Yes no globull warming this year, and Bastardi forecasting the REAL big chill in 8 days or so.
Would you add me to your list, please? Joe Bastardi is very thorough.
I’ve never been a warm weather fan, but I’m thinking I might need to reconsider.
You are added m’ lady.
Thank you, sire!
The next two clippers will bring an afternoon snow shower or two to Boston both Sunday and Monday. Little, if any accumulation is expected. Otherwise, temperatures will rise into the upper 30s these two days. Highs these days will not be a sign of things to come. Instead, the polar vortex will sink southward and usher in noticeably cold air by Tuesday. Temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday will be held to the teens with single digits expected at night. More waves of frigid air should follow for the remainder of the month.
I would like to be added too please!!!
On to the list please...
Thank God for Gorebull warming. Think how much worse it would be otherwise.
Thanks for the ping!
You are on!
You are welcome.
Brrrr! I’m not looking forward to this cold wave.
Thank you!!! Much appreciated...because...it is the only weather we got!!
Please add me too. Thanks.
You’re on the list.
Snow possibly. I think Joe talked about it in the video.
I do love the smell of global warming in the morning.
So it will be fairly cold for the Stupor Bowl?
Thanks for the ping!
If Bastardi’s thinking is right, it could be downright frigid.
When we had the SB in Indy, we lucked out the whole week was quite warm with no snow. Of course the game was played inside anyway. One thing I learned is that you get a lot of people who aren’t attending the game (normal folks who can’t afford 4 digit ticket prices) visiting the preliminary days. Although I still don’t think all the money that was spent by the city had much if any payback. It’s largely a corporate and govt “feel good” kind of thing.
