We built earth-sheltered ICF home and shop. It has in-floor geothermal heating with wood burners in both structures. Snug as a bug in a rug, but boy, has it been cold! “It’s so cold the democrats have their hands in their OWN pockets.”

Below is Accu- Weather's forecast for the Boston Area.
There is nothing unusually cold in this forecast. Things can change and the next round could be different. After all it's winter. It is what you should expect.- tom

The next two clippers will bring an afternoon snow shower or two to Boston both Sunday and Monday. Little, if any accumulation is expected. Otherwise, temperatures will rise into the upper 30s these two days. Highs these days will not be a sign of things to come. Instead, the polar vortex will sink southward and usher in noticeably cold air by Tuesday. Temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday will be held to the teens with single digits expected at night. More waves of frigid air should follow for the remainder of the month.
