A controversial new study claims that decisions made by women when they are pregnant can affect their babies brains including determining their sexuality, intelligence and chances of developing autism.
The suggestion that the lifestyle of an expectant mother can affect their offspring’s development has been put forward in Professor Dick Swaab’s new book, We Are Our Brains.
The professor of neurology at Amsterdam University claims that the chance of having a child who is gay can be determined by a range of factors, including how stressed pregnant women are, as well as whether they smoke and their exposure to amphetamines.
“Pre-birth exposure to both nicotine and amphetamines increases the chance of lesbian daughters,” said Swaab. “Pregnant women suffering from stress are also more likely to have homosexual children of both genders because their raised level of the stress hormone cortisol affects the production of fetal sex hormones.” …

Might the fact that a woman would be so irresponsible as to drink or smoke while pregnant meets the definition of an unfit mother have something to do with it?

Wouldn’t surprise me, drinking and smoking are terrible teratogens that completely mess up the developing baby. If you smoke, drink, or use crack/meth during pregnancy, consider yourself lucky if he comes out just gay.
It’s more likely that women that smoke and drink during pregnancy have babies fathered by men who fail miserably at their paternal obligations causing emotional damage to their children who then become same sex attracted in an effort to feel loved
Daily Mail and the telegraph lean to the right and mostly report the news on Odumbo that OUR MSM will never report. It’s the Guardian UK which is left and have a history of anti Americanism which stretches even during the Iraq war.
According the article, we have a lot of bosh being presented as science. The driving factor seems to be the desire to “prove” that people are “born gay.”
It seems to be true that the more older brothers a boy has, the greater chance he will be gay. Only biological brothers though:
“A study of 1,000 men, including some who were adopted or brought up with stepsiblings, revealed that having many brothers raised a man’s odds of being gay. This correlation only occurred among blood brothers, however. Stepbrothers did not have an effect, but biological brothers who were brought up separately did. No similar link has been found between having many older sisters and becoming a lesbian.
“Each older brother raised by one-third the odds that a man will be gay. If a firstborn son has a 3 percent chance of being gay, the figure for the second son will be 4 percent. By the fourth son, the odds of the so-called “fraternal birth order effect” will have doubled.
“Canadian scientists now believe that carrying a male baby triggers an immune response in the mother, creating antibodies that attack part of the foetus’ brain linked to sexual orientation. Genetics and exposure to hormones are also thought to be important.”

And I though this was the UK’s right wing paper. Look at the comments! Outraged at the insinuation that homosexuality is a disorder, and claiming that it’s genetic with no evidence.
I think Britain may be well and truly doomed. Oh, well. Islam might prove to be a good disinfectant, like the Babylonians and the Israelites.
If they go that route, they try to prove that it’s inborn rather than caused by external factors.
