DENVER -- Peyton Manning had an answer for everyone. What's new?

For Tom Brady. For the New England defense. For anyone who thought he couldn't win the big one.

Manning is taking the Denver Broncos on a trip to New York for the Super Bowl after another of his impeccably crafted victories -- this time, a 26-16 win over the Patriots on Sunday in the AFC title game.

Not sorry to see the Pats lose but — how will Manning do in an icy cold Super Bowl game?

If Seattle wins I’m going to call the Super Bowl the Weed Bowl since WA and CO have legalized marijuana.

Agreed. May the good guys truly win for a change.

That said, sorry that I cannot get hyped up over irrelevant sports when our Country is being ripped apart.

I’m a lifelong Pats fan (Grogan, James, Eason, 1-15 seasons)...congrats to Manning and Broncos and Bailey...it is a fun rivalry and this game wasn’t close...too much Indy /Manning offense, the Talib injury and the Bronco’s running defense...the Pats will be better next year as they lost so many last year and really just need guys to heal.

Manning was great but the game was won in the trenches. Denver defense stuffed Patriots running game and Denver defensive line was in Brady’s face when it counted all day.

He is a great guy. If he wins his 2nd SB, then I would say he’s better than Brady. He’s got all the passing records. Such an outstanding QB.

You think that San Fran's or Seattle's QB will do any better than Aaron Rogers did in his own house in Green Bay?

Just curious, how many years did Tebow play for Denver? And let me follow up with how may post season wins did he play in?

As a side note, how many years has Matthew Stafford been playing for Detroit and how many post season games has HE played in?

Elway won 2 SB's, at age 37 & 38, the oldest starting qb to win the SB.

Manning has 1 already. He is 37 now, tying him for second, as the oldest winning SB qb. (oops, am I presumptuous?)

He could also be the first qb to lead 2 teams to Super Bowl wins.

Brady did a promo for global warming.
Peyton is a conservative.
Brady literally cried on national TV, so filled was he with self-pity because he wasn't drafted as high as he hoped to be.

He could also be the first qb to lead 2 teams to Super Bowl wins.

I suppose you could say that if you limit yourself to only the years when the NFL championship has been called the "Super Bowl." But there already has been a QB to win an NFL championship for two different teams: Norm Van Brocklin, who won for the Rams in 1951 (splitting the duties with Bob Waterfield) and for the Eagles in 1960.

I am an old guy….I am 63…..some of these new terms can be confusing. I was freezing some young college fellow….can't remember his name…..Anyway, he referred to a Bong……Well I did not know what that was. I had never heard of a bong. So he could not believe I had never heard of that term.

So……
