Samong "Avajee" Traisattha, 36, was discovered by his wife lying in a pool of blood in his living room

The singer of a black metal band has been stabbed to death for tarnishing Satan.

Samong "Avajee" Traisattha, 36, was discovered by his wife lying in a pool of blood in his living room.

The lead singer and bassist of Surrender of Divinity had earlier welcomed a fan of the band into his home in Thailand.

His wife Jaruvan Surapol, 34, told cops she left to put her children to bed but when she returned an hour later on January 8 she found her dead husband.

Detectives later found a one-foot knife belonging to the killer. Cops now believe the main suspect is the fan who visited Traisattha at home, the Huffington Post reported.

A message on Facebook by somebody claiming to be the killer a few days after the death said the singer was killed because he was bad-mouthing Satan.

The user - called Maleficent Meditation - also posted pictures of the crime scene on the social network site.

As reported by dreamindemon.com, he said: “In my view, I have more respect for devoted Buddhists, Christians and Muslims than those who call themselves Satanists without knowing anything about it… If I did not kill him, I’m sure he would be murdered by someone else later… above all else, Satan is not a toy. Do not call yourself a Satanist if you do not believe in Satan!!!”.

Police are now hunting for the fan who visited the house.

I bet Pat Boone never had this problem.

That’s what autotune was made for.

I actually have that album. Pat sings "Enter Sandman" by Metallica.

And, yes, I'm quite serious.

And he sings it with panache.

Well, that sucks. If you can’t trust a Satanistic black metal rock fan, who can you trust?

So Wendy Davis has fans in Thailand, too.

"Who's Pat Boone?", said everyone under 50 years old.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

It always gets messy when the performer is just dabbling, but certain fans are more serious than a heart attack. How trusting to invite a devotee of that brand of music into his home with wife and kids completely vulnerable. Same thing often happens in the Rap culture. Some fans are not gangsta wannabes, they are the genuine article.

Maybe, but nothing beats Johnny Cash covering Nine Inch Nails, or Tom Jones covering Prince.

If only us old guys could have our brains voided of Pat’s most unfortunate foray.
