New reports have revealed that the FBI had suspicions about Adam Lanza eight years before he committed the second-deadliest mass shooting in American history.
The FBI reportedly went to the Newtown, Connecticut home that he shared with his mother Nancy in 2004 and asked about his computer activity but left before even sitting down with the then-12-year-old.
Newsweek reports that FBI agents went to the family's Yogananda Street home because they had tracked Adam online after he hacked through two layers of government security.
Nancy Lanza, who would later be killed at the hands of her son, spoke to the officers and convinced them that there was no need for further questioning.
'He's a computer whiz,' she told the agents, according to Newsweek.
'Adam was just testing himself.'
The newly released report about the home visit is just one in a growing number of missed clues ....

Striking how instantaneous the Old New Left was prepared to blame the Second Amendment for this massacre but we are apparently only now learning this little tidbit.
In all fairness, it's probably more than ten times as secure as the ObamaCAIR web site.

We are in total agreement. I do not think it will happen but man you nailed it.
I am currently visiting in Central California where we had 5 people shot by a 21 year old just down the street from the hotel where I am staying This is in a nice part of town. The perp, now dead, carjacked several cars, shooting the drivers. One is dead and one is critical. He was finally stopped by an off duty prison official who shot him in the back. There was also an off duty male nurse who was armed who would have shot the perp, had the prison offical not acted. The perp had 2 brothers (19 and 5) in his gun sights at the time he was shot. Despite being wounded, he jumped into the brothers' truck and took off down the street, driving several miles before he crashed and died from his wounds.
The rest of the story? The perp had been arrested as a teen for waving a gun around in public and served about a week in jail before he was given 3 years probation and told to stay away from alcohol and firearms.
That always works out so well...
We have a winner! I’m not believing a word of it either. What a sorry state we’ve become that we can’t believe our own “freedom and liberty” government anymore. They’ve had a year to make up a background on this guy. It took them four years to cut and paste a BC, so they’re getting better.

Seems like Adam must have known something about the effects of Xanax.
Then, there are the ones who move up their timelines, go 'dark' or 'dumb' and pull a surprise, or who are just let loose to create an incident so the agencies can expand their power.
That may seem jaded, but the feebies have lost credibility with me, especially under this administration.
IIRC, there was a case of Randy Weaver years ago during the Clinton Administration. He was approached by an acquaintance about sawing off a shotgun.
Such a simple task, I think Weaver told the guy that he could do it himself, but the guy cajoled HIM into doing it. He was a government plant, and I believe that’s one of the charges they used to help create Ruby Ridge.

Easy mistake. I’ve seen a lot of posts attribute it to Clinton. I had to look it up again to be sure.
I think that it goes to show you that the history and intent of some government agencies is bad, irrespective of the administration. I put BATFE in that class.

It sure gives some insight into what his thought processes were.
