HARTFORD (CBS Connecticut) Tom Brady wont be one of the millions of people watching the Super Bowl.
Speaking to WEEI a day after the New England Patriots lost to the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship game, Brady admitted he will not be sitting in front of a television to see the Broncos play the Seattle Seahawks on Feb. 2.

I bet it was all taken out of context...
Look who he’s married to.
He’s been there FIVE TIMES. It’s not like he’s missing anything.
F*** Football! If I were him I would retire and buy myself an island in the tropics and make sure her wardrobe consisted of nothing but outfits from Victoria's Secret!
Well then, he could care less
If he ‘Couldn’t Care Less’ - well, that would be harsh...
No LOL required. It’s a peeve of mine too when this phrase gets changed and no one understands it completely changes the original meaning.
I’ll be watching the Puppy Bowl, far more interesting and far less profane than being subjected to the ridiculous half-time orgy of smoke, fireworks, horribly untalented screaming “artists” with scads of so-called fans trashing the field. Haven’t watched the Super Bowl in years.
Half-time nonsense is despicable. Wish they’d interrupt rock concerts with football games during their intermissions.
I haven’t watched a super bowl in years. I did watch the first few. I remember Bart Starr being MVP in the first two.
The first one was not even a sell out despite getting a lot of hype and the television audience being huge.
I'm a retired trucker and I don't think I've EVER watched a complete "ICE ROAD TRUCKERS" (or whatever it was called.)
When it's your job it's like ... boring, unless you're doing it.
Kind'a like being a passenger (for me)
I've been the passenger maybe a dozen times in the last thirty years ... I just don't ride with someone ... I drive.
If I don't drive, I don't go.
Does gisele bündchen mean "Me love you long time" in Swahili?
If you never watch as you say, then how do you even know what goes on?
Damn you small X!
I said, "I haven't watched the Super Bowl in years." Especially after the refs deliberately threw that Steeler/Seattle game years ago, and then they apologized years later. Too phony.
I wasn’t going to watch if it was Brady and that galloping tattoo. I likely will now.
I've never seen any Super Bowl game (or any college game for that matter).
I watched a High School game in 1969 and that was the extent of my experience watching football.
I also played basketball and never watched it.
Well, Tom...Let’s see....There’s.....no, not him.....Maybe....no, him either.....
Gee, Tom...I can’t think of anyone who really cares whether you watch or not......
Pretty Boy has always been (1) a sore loser who (2) does not use standard English.
And the phrase is "I couldn't care less."
Thats kinda funny im in the trades and still like to watch diy shows and make fun of them
we need a ruling!
ALWAYS loved his show and yes, I KNEW they were highly edited and gifted with the latest tools for promo ... still ...
I never laughed at HIM.
I don’t wanna watch it either.. Ya know I will tho. GO ???! Don’t care!
This will make your day:
Can't ... still drooling.
Same here. We are in the flooring business and get some real LOL fun at some of those shows.
However that one guy from Canada who comes in and does rescues on bad contractor jobs seems to get it right.
LOL! Like you, haven’t sat through an entire football game since high school in the ‘60s. Sat though part of one a few years ago when my daughter was a homecoming princess for halftime. Left right after she didn’t make queen. Never watch it on TV. Just not into spectator sports. I love trout fishing and target shooting, but I would never watch someone doing it on TV.
If he could care less it must be pretty important to him.
EXACTLY how I would feel if he were in the game.
OK that literally was LOL!
I don't blame Brady for skipping out.
Norm and that silva fella were true craftsman im a better than aveage journeyman borderline master
I think we tend to overestimate the interest that professional athletes have in watching other people play the same sport.
Just a prelude to baseball....
you might want to LISTEN to the interview he blamed himself for missing a few of the long passes that he feels could have affected the game IOW he take ownership for the loss.
It all works out. I have no desire to watch Brady in another Super Bowl.
If he “could care less”, that means he cares a little bit. A stupid phrase.
The only thing I didn’t like were all the biscuits. He went through more of them things in one show than an Alabama diner did in a week.
“Except New Yankee Workshop with Norm Abram (I think retired now after 20 some years)”
“If he could care less, that means he cares a little bit. A stupid phrase.”
It’s like “irregardless”
I don’t read it as whining really. It’s quite common really for many athletes who thrive on competition to have no desire to be spectators.
In his case, he has played, practiced and watched film almost daily since last summer. His season is done and he probably feels its time for a break.
So Tommy Boy does care. Since he could care less, how much does he care now?
Stay put Captain Obvious, we know!
Let’s see if I can draw a parallel. Hey, Brady....If I’m not “playing” with Giselle I don’t want to see her on TV, either.
Aw, who am I kidding? ; )
If he pokes his head out the door and sees his shadow, will there be six more weeks of winter?
And who can say "No" to that?
About Richard Sherman’s remark. Can anyone explain why Rush obsessed over that? He talked over and over about how intelligent Sherman is, as if that excuses anyone from being an absolute repulsive ass. Was Rush trying to establish his “I’m not racist” bonafidees, when no one really believes that he is?
