Here is the worlds biggest cat with the name of Hercules, he is a cross (Hybrid) between a tiger and a lion thus making it a Liger, it weighs 900Lb's and is almost 12ft Tall!

Are they housebroken?
is this an attempt at explaining our wonderful Dear Leader?
And at any moment the liger can go berserk and bite someone’s head off. When will humans learn that it is not wise to fool around with naturally, wild animals?
Vote for Pedro.
He offers his protection ;-)
Yes and no.
Liger = offspring of a male lion bred with a female tiger.
Tion = offspring of a male tiger bred with a female lion.
Interestingly, the growth limiting hormone is turned off when the father is a lion and the mother is a tiger, or vice versa, I can’t remember. Those are the big ones.
Imagine meeting him alone in the woods...at midnight...in a thunder storm...with no weapon? Fuggitabutit!!
I need a keychain lanyard.

Learn something new every day! For example, from your post I just realized that my ex was a Liger!
Bred for it’s skills in magic.
Twelve feet tall?
Actually, its Tigon.
I heard a biologist talk about why this extra size on a liger would be a distinct disadvantage in the wild. Tigers are already big enough to take down all but the biggest herbivores in their environment. Tigers can't kill mature rhinos or elephants and generally won't attack mature bull gaur. Although a tiger is capable of killing a mature bull gaur, the converse is also true. The extra size of the liger wouldn't help against rhinos or elephants, so it would have little advantage.
However, the extra size comes with one major cost. The extra size calls for lots of extra calories. Another cost is that the extra size makes a liger more clumsy than a lion or tiger and therefore a less effective stealth hunter.
“I’d guess this animal already has some health issues do to the un-natural size and will develop more - neither the lion’s frame nor the tiger’s normally carry that much mass.”
From the video he looks pretty fat. But hey, who’s going to put a cat THAT size on a diet?
Correct, they can spell it however they want. Big kitties.
The video states that, 'hybrid vigour' makes a liger "bigger, stronger, smarter and faster" than its parents. Judging by his girth, and shorter legs to torso, compared to lion or tiger, I do not see how Hercules could be 'faster'. Though a Wiki article states that he is not obese and is expected to live a long life, his large belly and his panting, even when he walks, does not 'equate' with being in good health.
While lions and tigers can breed in captivity, there are apparently none in the wild as their territories do not overlap and only a very small part of lion and tiger territories ever did. If God had wanted ligers, He would have made them in the wild. Man should not mess with this.
He is just gorgeous.
Seriously though, looking at that first picture, his jaws look as wide as her head! He looks as large as Aslan, the CGI lion in the Narnia movies. He's beautiful, but he's still a wild animal so I wouldn't trust him, especially if he were hungry!
It’s pretty much my favorite animal!
No human could look as good in his fur as he does.
Interestingly, according to what I’ve read, ligers have a singularly mild, gentle temperament. Tigons, however, are just the opposite.
Think of the size of the litter box.
I agree that Hercules looks better in his fur than anyone could. I don’t wear fur and have no desire to. Not a PETA type, but I’m just not interested in fur.
I too, have read of how gentle Ligers are. I cannot dispute it, but I am aware of some problems with Wolfdogs and Coydogs, so I am not a big fan of hybrid wild animals, especially such a big animal. If Hercules ever reverted to his wild state, even for just a few seconds, there would be nothing left of his handler except a memory!
Is that Eddie Murphy (on the left in a plastic wig) back from when he made really funny movies? He’s in disguise with a little CGI thrown in.
Same here....I have no use for PETA nuts, but I’ve always loved animals.
A human would be barely a snack for Hercules! I hope his keepers/owners are using good common sense and lots of alertness, as gentle as he may be. When animal handlers get too relaxed, things have a tendency to not turn out well.
He’s magnificent. Such a handsome guy...
He sure is
