“Some of us don’t carry ID, even when we’re wearing clothes.”
When I travel I carry several double postage stamp sized typed lists of next of kin, who I’m visiting, my name and address, etc. I tape these with Scotch tape on both sides in case they get wet. I put one in a shirt pocket, one in my pants pocket and one in my wallet. My luggage has a similar list.
When you die often times somebody steals your wallet, keys and anything that might otherwise identify you, like an inscribed wedding band or watch.
I do this so that if something happens my family will at least know so they won’t keep up false hope. (I assume they’ll hope.)
