I thought women joined the workforce DURING WWII to replace the men who’d gone off to war, then went home as the men returned. Something about creating the ‘baby boom’ generation? Then in the late 60s/early 70s, women’s lib came into play.
Put me down for a yes vote on that. [Her mother had practiced birth control]
The “it's MY body” myth is a lie. Her body ends at the umbilical cord. There may be one or more additional bodies at the other end.
There are “siamese twins” who are conjoined. They've been permitted 2 votes and separate marriages. The courts have already ruled on this issue.
Obama even sentenced live babies outside of the womb to death by neglect if they survived an abortion. It wasn't about someone's "body" the body was no longer in play.
Nobody is trying to make it illegal to use birth control.
There are churches who preach a religious objection to birth control, but they are not trying to change the law to force their religious beliefs on others.
This article is part of the deception that started at that fateful 2012 presidential debate, when the democratic operative asked the republicans whether they supported the push to ban birth control.
Sadly, the response wasn’t the entire panel of republicans calling the guy an idiot and walking off the stage. Instead, they treated it like a real question, and thus “the war on women” was launched.
Birth control should be legal. Nobody should be forced to buy insurance that covers it, or to sell insurance that covers it. And government should not encourage it, because our country will only survive if the citizens of the country have children to replace the dying population.
That is the reason government should encourage marriage — but only marriages that have the theoretical possibility of producing offspring that can be raised by the two biological parents. And government should encourage childbearing by providing support for expectant and new mothers, child tax credits, etc.
Let’s hope in 5 years Wisconsin can correct this mistake.
9 months after the end of the war a very large number of women weren’t working, they were having BABIES! “Baby Boom” ever heard of it?
When are opponents of these people going to ask, ad nauseam, “Where exactly is THAT in the Constitution?”
Static analysis ignoring the potential impact of all the children who ultimately were not added to the workforce.
Ya...look what stifling the resident population has done for Europe and their economies.....
She thinks that because it improved her household income that it must make for a great long term, national economic model.
The only long term benefit is that she didn’t add more liberal idiots to voing rosters.
uh....
VOTING ROSTERS
Pretty sure Tammy will never need it.
Well, since she’s a clam diver and pretty much all eugenicist women are, probably a matter of days.
How did Wisconsin ever elect this scum? I know Thompson was boring but...Baldwin? Disgrace.
This rug-muncher is such a degenerate. Oh, that her mother had practiced what this lesbian-loser preaches.
Exactly.

Hey, Tams? After our next Civil War - which YOUR side is hell-bent on starting, I’ll go back on the pill, K?
Beotch.
Again, my apologies for Wisconsin bringing this POS to the National stage. We didn’t WANT her in the first place - outside money flowing into our state paved her way.
She is an embarrassment to us all!
If you are comfortable with that, no one is trying to deny it to you. But why the heck should I have to pay for it?
Forgot that part.
“What permits that is women being able to control when or whether they have children and how many.”
Real simple, cost no money and interferes with no ones rights or beliefs. Keep your legs closed, until such time as you chose to have a baby......
Those women entering the work force after WW2 did not have free birth control and unlimited abortion. They had morals and made choices..
