Never heard of “freestyle skiing” before, but after watching this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtHYl3ERw2A I’d say it is indeed an “extreme sport”
First Michael Schumacher, now this? Sounds to me like we need some common-sense laws regulating skis...
Helmets help to protect your head not your neck.
skis gotta do what skis gotta do
slide down slippery snowy slopes
and stop suddenly when they hit something that is not slippery snow
Like rocks. and trees. and other skiers.
common sense is that if you can’t stand the risks (and they cannot all be prevented), don’t do the sport
Sad...but when you are traveling on snow you have to pay attention. If you don’t you will at some point, “eat it”.
I know where you are going with this ;) but still... http://ski.lovetoknow.com/Skiing_Accidents_that_Kill_Celebrities
