Metlife Stadium To Get Heat For The Superbowl. The Metlife Stadium was tragically built without a roof due to the poor investments by the project managers.
Early on in the project adequate funds were available and plans were drawn to include a roof for the stadium but the investments with Bernie Madoff and Corzine investment firms tanked.
Coming to the rescue are Mr. & Mrs. Slick Willy Clinton. They have graciously agreed to accept a reduced fee of $395,000 to read all five of His Arrogance's SOTU speeches prior to the game. Global Warming Experts Hansen, Jones and Mann estimate that 7 hours of reading these speeches by the Clintons will raise the temperature to the mid 70s in the stadium. It may be required to have fire trucks spray the stadium afterwards with Febreze to eliminate any odorous residue prior to the arrival of the fans.
The swamp people of New Jersey were pleased and promised to vote for Mrs. Slick Willy in the 2016 elections.
The big question is — what will be the condition of the field.

If this was not meant to be taken literaly, disregard the following. The truth is that MetLife has no roof because the Giants and Jets did not want to pay for it. The funds to build the stadium was mostly from the football teams themselves, not the state. Since both teams sell out every game, why would they spend extra for the roof.

And it should never be played on artificial turf.

Maybe every event needs to have at least one gay wedding. Cutting a ribbon on a new office building? Marry Doug and Joseph too. A funeral for a public figure? Include a wedding for two lesbians. Casual Fridays? Spice them up with a quick gay wedding in the office lunchroom. Stuck in traffic? Center dividers are great altars for gays.
About Met Life..it was incredibly stupid..financially..NOT to enclose,kit..it could have become a HUGE convention/exposition center..used year round..more than covered the cost of the roof..
An increasing number of locations no longer see sports teams as worthwhile; this Super Bowl was a concession to push them to build the new stadium (and will probably be the only one ever played here). A lot of whining by locals that they aren’t making money out of this...
