What's your pick?
Also loved the Radio Shack ad -- "the '80s called, they want their stores back."
Doritos took it for me.
Liked the Budweiser spot featuring the dog and the Clydesdales; ditto for the Chevy spot with the stud bull being delivered to his new harem, to the tune of “You Sexy Thing” by Hot Chocolate.
Overall, this was one of the lamest groups of Super Bowl commercials in history. Lots of companies will be looking for new ad agencies tomorrow.
and all the ones with horses, dogs, the American flag, and war heroes!
(My theory: Budweiser is all of a sudden not about babes and boobs anymore, but patriotism, because they are pitching to the over 50 crowd. Now that pot is becoming legal everywhere, beer sales will go down among the under-50 gang. Bud has a newer, older market.)
grizzly bear is store FTW!
Yup. The puppy and the Clydesdales. After that, the Chevy truck ad with the bull in the trailer.
A blank t.v. Screen is my pick.
Oh yeah, the Chevy bull ad was great! LOL
Bob Dylan ad is on my top list too. :) Stupid libs thought he was all peacenik LOL
A lot of pinkos are still upset that he sold out and went electric.
I thought the Dylan/Chrysler ad was just... ironic. Just a total fail IMO. ???
The Budweiser ad was cute, but none of these ads made me interested in anything they were trying to sell. In fact, none of the ads really seemed like they were interested in me as a consumer.
Budweiser wins again!! The BestBuds one brought tears to my eyes absolutely LOVED It..the Butterfingers one was just weird
What are y’all talking’ about? What commercials?
Yes, and I waited all night for it! LOL. I know it was "leaked" but I didn't see it til tonight.
That Maserati commercial was the suck. Why not just show the damned car? I got curious and went to the Maserati website for the car. It said it wasn’t working, but I COULD watch the Superbowl commercial. WTF?
Have they seed Detroit lately?
The shame of it was that many people were no longer watching by that point.
So was it, or was it not, “pajama boy” hugging Bruce Willis?
At first I thought, yes. Then... no. No way. But then... was it? (can’t remember what the commercial was FOR, so regardless, it was bad).
I hate commericals, they’re unAmerican!
Bud puppy commercial and the MetLife Peanuts.
I liked the turbotax commercial and the commercial with the dog and the horses.
I almost always change the channel when any program goes to commercial. A habit I picked up years ago for obvious reasons.
But the one I did see with the Matrix guy Morphius (Fishburn) was pretty good. Even Agent Smith got a few seconds in there.
That was Bob Dylan? I thought it was some undertaker.
1) Best Buds
2) Bull - I believe in miracles
Tie for 3rd - Radio shack and the Doritos time machine
No, the guy is Fred something from Portlandia
being that i am a sucker for the 80s, this was my favorite... overall, i did not enjoy this year's commercials... i usually come away with a handful that i like, but not this year... i did like the puppy love Budweiser commercial and the homecoming Budweiser commercial...
Don’t know who that is, but thanks! lol
I watched the Audi ad a few days ago. Enjoyed it, but not sure that it’s going to sell cars. Would have worked better for the old El Camino.
I preferred the Lone Ranger Doritos ad to the puppy-Clydesdale only because Bud has become more and more cloying with that series of ads. The soldier homecoming was Bud’s best.
Scarlett Johansson’s turn for the Soda Machine was the most unexpected, knowing what a left-wing nut bag she is. Still, she got major props for standing up to the Oxfam group-think clan and standing FOR Israel. She’s still largely a left-wing nut bag, but it proves that they can learn...
Doritos ads were the best....liked the Bud ones, but they didn’t POP....
ALL the car ads, IMO, sucked...
The Budweiser Ad;
The M&M Ad;
The bull in truck Ad wasn’t bad.
All others sucked.
Jack and Chloe in the 24:Live Another Day commercial
>> Bob Dylan doing the Chrysler ...
Assembled in America...
do not like the lame song that accompanies
the adorable puppy/Kliedsdale(sp?)
commercial -— ruined it for me
I'm with you. I didn't watch the entire game, but what I saw was, in my opinion, garbage. Did you notice that in all the talk about how this childish humor and amoral pandering no one mentioned THIS?
Bob Dylan for Chrysler was absolutely stupid. We should by a car built in Detroit because it’s patriotic.
Compare with the KIA commercial. NOw that was cool
In Short, show the car dummy.
Both Chrysler and Budweiser, now foreign companies, are exploiting Americana. It’s kinda disgusting.
I’m all for the patriotism, but not interested in being mocked.
The Coke ad certainly stuck out. I can’t figure out if I like it or not. At first it was off putting, but then I remember that practically every country I have been to which is a total of 46 have coke everywhere.
Here's more about the show
nah, a few years back he did a commercial for women’s bras (as opposed to men’s bras, i guess)
a Dylan song was the backround music for another SB commercial...cant remember the commercial or the song.
it was a Chobani yogurt commercial with a grizzly bear destroying a store to get a yogurt....funny commercial
the music was Dylans 50 year old “I want you”
“The Coke ad certainly stuck out. I cant figure out if I like it or not. At first it was off putting, but then I remember that practically every country I have been to which is a total of 46 have coke everywhere.”
The problem with the Coke add was their singing “American the Beautiful” in multiple languages. It’s a tribute to what the left see as acceptable multiculturalism WITHIN our country. It’s a post-Obama add. I found this spot the most offensive.
The Coca-Cola ad was offensive, and there’s a huge backlash growing on it.
