Old Homestead Steakhouse Is Offering a $150G Super Bowl-Sized Meal

The legendary restaurant is offering the $150,000 feast on game day, running the gamut from pregame (a seafood spread) to game time (32-ounce Texas T-bones) to postgame (red velvet Super Bowl XLVIII cupcakes).

It's the Super Bowl tailgate party that costs more than your car — with enough legroom for 20. The $150,000 feast, straight from the playbook of the legendary Old Homestead Steakhouse, offers a spectacular feed for one deep-pocketed football fan and his soon-to-be-stuffed guests.

While most folks are picking either Denver or Seattle, the lucky diners at this extravaganza can choose between T-bones and Porterhouses, lobster or shrimp, Oban single malt Scotch or Dom Perignon champagne.

Or maybe just sample a bit of everything at Sunday’s “high steaks” affair.

“It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance,” said Marc Sherry, co-owner of the iconic Meatpacking District eatery.

“It’s over-the-top expensive, excessive and extraordinary — but so is the Super Bowl.”

The staggering menu runs the gamut from pregame (a seafood spread) to game time (32-ounce Texas T-bones) to postgame (red velvet Super Bowl XLVIII cupcakes).

An 18-ounce filet mignon honors No. 18, Peyton Manning.

While kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. Sunday, the party starts whenever you want on the big day.

“You’re the boss,” said Sherry. “Whatever time you want. Wherever you want — office, house, parking lot, man cave.”
