You did a nice thing. Hopefully the little girls will bail out by the end of middle school when the indoctrination begins. Ours did.

A+++ have not followed common core really, but i know it’s a bad thing. Saw a tweet that said that Huckabee is advising them to re-brand and stay the course?

That was another good one. My favorite part was the music. I’m guessing yours was the tiny gymnast.

Huck needs to shut his pie hole. He wants to be president so badly he can taste it.

We thought Bruno Mars did a great job, and the RHCP did not add a thing.

Agree, 100%. He brought class back to the halftime show. I love the old Motown dress up and give them a SHOW performances. With dancing and not grinding, for a change.

i read that Bruno invited the RHCP to join him, but it seemed an odd mix. it was nice to see a young person, not one of the aging geezers they love to prop up for the superbowl, and for him to do a nice, clean, family-style show.

My son was just griping to me how much he cannot stand him or his muzak, that it is elevator music and so boring. I said I disagree and why. As usual, we are on completely different planes, musically.

Aging geezers = RHCP. They were popular and playing the exact same song 20 years ago since I remember the interns doing a parody of them in their talent show.

what someone chooses to listen to on their ipod and what is appropriate for a superbowl show are two diff things! don’t know what he likes, but most likely it would not have popular appeal which is what the aim has to be for that venue. i happen to have locked out of heaven on my ipod, though : )

I went out to walk the dog at halftime and we had a coating of snow. On the ten o’clock news the forecast was nothing at all like it was the previous night.

At 5:30 they called to delay school. At 7 they called to cancel it. We have about 5-6 inches on the ground and it is still coming. Should let up after noon.

I am traveling to Kentucky today via Nashville. Glad I am not on some early flight.
