In addressing criticism of the Common Core national education standards, a panelist at the Center for American Progress (CAP), a liberal think tank, said critics were a “tiny minority” who opposed standards altogether, which was unfair because “the children belong to all of us.”
Reville continued, “Again, the argument about where it came from I think privileges certain sort of fringe voices about federalism and states’ rights, and things of that nature, when really what we’re doing at the national level here now, state by state, is what a lot of our states thought made sense individually.”
“Why should some towns and cities and states have no standards or low standards and others have extremely high standards when the children belong to all of us and would move [to different states in their educational lives]?”

Good grief! Every word coming out of this guy’s mouth (vid at link) is pure, unadulterated Marxism. I’ll give him this....he doesn’t attempt to hide or cover up his Marxist beliefs, one bit.
The communists are feeling pretty comfortable now considering the current environment.
And if the children belong to all of us, why are they creating such a bleak future for them? Might be a good question to ask of the commissar.
They’re a bunch of cuckoo birds.
They don’t want to have to care for their own children, but want to “reproduce” ideologically.
You take care of them and support them, and they will disciple them. That’s what they want.
(Cuckoos will tear up the host birds’ nest as punishment if they chuck the cuckoo’s egg out.)

Leftist really are mentally ill. I equate most of them to adolescents. They are at their heart self-centered narcissists who’s brains stopped developing somehow during the teen or preteen years.
They care about themselves and their “enlightenment” or own enjoyment. That’s why they don’t have a real problem with letting kids go to be raised by someone else. It free’s themselves up to purue their own desires.
