Conservatives deserve what is happening to them
4 February 2014 | Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin

All of this constant talk of corruption, wrongdoing, markets going bad, etc. ad nauseum is ridiculous. Conservatives (i.e. Those who stand for what is right.) deserve what is happening to them and I mean every word of it.

If people who know what is right will not pull together and do something about all of this mess, then why complain about it or even talk about it? It accomplishes absolutely nothing. You're not going to convince anyone who is liberal to come his/her senses nor are you going to win converts.

Either do something active about what is going on (get 8-10 families together and go to the local school board and demand changes until your demands are met -- that's what liberals do) or shut the hell up. This would apply to any situation, not just school. If you can't get anyone to cooperate, then you have your answer...it's not going to work. I hate using movie lines to make a point because movies are not reality, but one really sticks in my mind: "If you're gonna shoot, shoot! Don't talk!"

So its time to just give up and slit our wrists throats?

Fixed.

My in-laws are liberals and to me they always seem unhappy even though liberal/leftist control everyting in modern culture, the media, hollywood educaton etc. I always ask them “What more do you want”? “You” own everything and the world isn’t a Utopia yet? What gives? Why so unhappy?

People make their own choices.

Fair enough. I choose to die with my boots on.

When I leave the house this morning, I will be going to court for a hearing in a perjury case that I've been covering it for my newsblog. The underlying case resulted in the conviction and imprisonment of a mayor for public corruption. My newsblog covered the issue for 3 1/2 years.

Last night I covered the Ruston, LA city council meeting. Tonight is the Lincoln Parish (county) school board. I got tired of the local "real" newspaper not doing its job, so I decided to do it myself.

I'm not impressed with people who say "nothing can be done."

And that is exactly the reason there can be no ‘working within’ that system.

It’s either work outside it by coalescing a 2nd party or giving up entirely. People don’t want to have the ‘magic’ of Oz exposed and will lie to themselves/attack anyone exposing it. If they don’t believe it, it can’t be real.

But the facts are what they are.

You first. I plan on taking a few with me when I go, metaphorically speaking, of course.

I meant to say “their throats” but my fix was incorrect.

I didn’t say nothing can be done. It’s just that I’m becoming more and more convinced that Frank Herbert was right when he wrote:

“Power attracts the corruptible. Absolute power attracts the absolutely corruptible. This is the danger of entrenched bureaucracy to its subject population. Even the spoils systems are preferable because levels of tolerance are lower and the corrupt can be thrown out periodically. Entrenched bureaucracy seldom can be touched short of violence. Beware when Civil Service and Military join hands.”

Why do you bother to post on FRee Republic?

Why not just stay in bed, go fishing, get drunk, or whatever. If you think the struggle is useless, fine, that's your prerogative. But if you think the thing to do is show up here and preach Doom and Gloom, I'm really not interested in listening.

Sorry if that's a bit blunt, but I haven't the time for niceties.

All of the biggest radio talkers do show prep - which means logging into Free Republic . Limbaugh practically reads our posts live, which is a good thing.

We are being heard.

So, you tell me how the entrenched bureaucracy is done away with. You have all the answers.

We are being heard.

So the struggle isn't for naught, then? Good. I'm off to court to do news reporting.

See it here: lpno.org

One of those accursed "blogs" that Humblegunner bellyaches so much about.

The poster comes from my neck of the woods and let me assure you he is correct 100 percent.

The big money buys both parties to maintain a status quo of their choosing round here.

When one local politico got put on trial and convicted of corruption the local big money guys raised tens of thousands of dollars for his legal defense.

One of the big money guys in our town just put ten million dollars of his own money down to run for governor of Pennsylvania.

Our problem isn't the left or the media or even Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid. The problem is the back stabbers from within, who take turns opposing constitutional conservatives, so we lose every time. If the globalist/pro-corporate/cheap labor had stood by us, the budget would not have funded Obamacare, Boehner would not be HOR speaker and invaders would not still be filling US jobs.

This author is correct. Who's going to switch sides when we're being sabotaged by those people who pretend to be conservative, during campaigning season?

Tonight is the Lincoln Parish (county) school board.

I hope you enjoy great success in shining the light on corruption, and live a long life, too. Thanks for your work.

Not necessarily. You can be as active as you want and if you don’t have the votes you don’t have the votes. Unless of course you are talking about massive amounts of civili disobedience and perhaps even violence..... those are the ways of the left

Sounds like a plan, but I need to talk to my CPA to make sure my books are audit-ready.

We are at the point where the boxes have become ineffective- the ballot box has given us dictator-wannabees, the soap box is ignored in favor of who got kicked off the island, the jury box is negated by the anti-America judicial appointees. The ammo box remains. It is 1775 and counting. We need to start ambushing the enemy leadership, those who will soon give the orders to move us to the camps.

Will we go from zero action to full rebellion overnight?

It appears as if all the free stuff that was offered last election produced lots of votes for the Liberals. And they were rewarded with Obamacare. So suck it up, you asked for it.
