Sandra Fluke, the controversial birth control advocate who became an icon of women's rights during the 2012 presidential election, has pulled out of the race to replace retiring Rep. Henry Waxman in California's 33rd congressional district. The Los Angeles Times reports that Fluke will be running for the state Senate instead, adopting the district being vacated by Democrat Ted Lieu, who joins others in the race for the 33rd district.

Well, that didn't last long. But she still has "ass"pirations since she'll no doubt be a great state senator. Give her more experience for her eventual run for the US senate to replace difi or boxcar someday. Or maybe just pelousy when she finally locks of from botox OD.

I’m disappointed. But, Ms. “Rhymes-with-truck” never fails to disappoint.

Great headline!

Technically, however, i guess she did the right thing. She practiced abstinence rather than abortion, at least in this case.

Will Fluke have to pay a penalty for early withdrawal?

Think a bigwig CA Dem pulled her aside and told her that other libs have been waiting for this seat for decades?

Here’s the deal. You pull out and we’ll give you a seat in the state senate.

” who became an icon of women’s rights “

Just because Limbaugh criticized her. She has no qualities that would qualify her for any public office. She had better stick to begging for the government to pay for her birth control pills.

I live in idiot Ted Lieu’s district. The folks around here are stupid and left-wing enough to replace dim Ted with this pig Fluke. Like Lieu, she’ll reliably vote to spend my tax dollars supporting illegal aliens, establishing open-gender bathrooms for school children, etc, etc.

Early withdrawal is not the most reliable method, but so long as it works, it is a cost-effective approach.

“I am sure she was given the word by the Dem establishment.”

Not only have partisans waited for decades for a shot at this seat, but the bosses would have noticed that during her stint as a ‘women’s rights advocate’ for Obama ‘12, she rarely attracted crowds larger than a dozen people

What has happened is that Fluke realized she has been assigned to start her political career at the state senate level. Like all obedient socialists, she will do as she is told.

The media pimps will continue to promote her, and you just watch how she will rise in power. Do not be surprised to see this woman in Washington someday.

Yes, there's some of that, there has to be.

As an amateur, she didn't check in first with headquarters, making the mistake of thinking she lived in a free country or something.

From the article;
Fluke will need to raise her own funds: California voters rejected a referendum to provide some public campaign funding in 2010.

Here's to hoping the Fluke flounders.
