Gucci just announced the appointment of Bruce Springsteen's daughter, nationally ranked equestrian Jessica Springsteen, as Gucci Equestrian Ambassador. You've definitely heard of that title before and connected those words before in your brain, because it's a real title and a useful epithet that means a tangible thing in this system of language that humans developed over a period of time on Earth.
Springsteen is an accomplished horsewoman. She also wore Björk-style swan attire to the 2013 Gucci Paris Masters. Gucci's creative director, Frida Giannini, promised in a statement that she has "ensured that the design of this new wardrobe provides [Springsteen] with pieces that manage to be both technically correct and stylish."
This is a brand that just created the title "Equestrian Ambassador" out of whole cloth and princess dreams, and so I trust that "technically correct" is right at the forefront of their priorities.

I admit to turning up the car stereo whenever Born to Run plays, singing along, with particular emphasis and head bobbing to the "'Cause tramps like us . . ." line.
I know Springsteen is a big leftist and all, but as a person he is aces in my book. My daughter’s best friend had bone cancer in her leg at the age of 10. Without any publicity, Springsteen would regularly visit her in the hospital to cheer her up. The only people who ever knew about it were her family and her friend’s families.
She’s not bad are we sure she is who she is?

But reading your response, I still think you were being facetious. You've never heard Bruce Springsteen songs? Even if you haven't, I would thing you could tell from the context that isn't what I was saying.
So if it was a joke, just come out and say it.
Did you read the whole thing. She is not being mocked her father is. I see no reason why she should be mocked.

And try looking the definition. The first noun definition is the vagrant/hobo one, not, "woman of loose morals." Springsteen was talking about the former.

If you read the daily newspapers or listen to radiophonic news, you’ll know that the nation is experiencing a serious shortage of humour, not seen since the witches were burned in... wherever, for which you cannot blame Bush as it predates him. I blame television with its laugh tracks and the placards displayed to the audiences during the tapings of TV talk shows which say ‘LAUGH’.
