I watch couple episode it too hard to watch Michael it was okay in some parts
Ever since CW Reign start I been watching that on Thursday night
I watched it the first night but only the first episode (they aired 2). It was so terrible. Not surprised at all this was cancelled.
I didn’t even know he had a show. It seems like it should have been on the Fox network tho.
I get around 20 local channels but about the only thing I watch is METV, Jeopardy, and the local news.
Of course I watch “The Crazy Ones” Thursday at 9pm , but not “2 and a half Men”. I also watch Big bang Theory. I admit I watch “Community” On Demand.
Fox is just a shadow of his former self. It’s really sad. His disease actually began during the 3rd part of “Back to the Future.”
1. He is a ghoul - He supports creating life in order to destroy it for his own personal benefit.
2. He is a sham. He makes anti-republican commercials and interviews by not taking his medications to appear as sick as possible.
First episode was just OK. The rest were worst. I can’t see Michael J Fox without remembering his over the top advocacy for embryonic stem cells and his vilifying anyone who pointed out its shortcomings. He was 100% wrong and never acknowledged it.
Perhaps Bieber can fill the time slot. Oh, Canada.
I watch Parks and Recreation for Ron Swanson alone.
Remember NBC? Hill Street Blues. Adam-12. St. Elsewhere. Emergency. Frasier. The Dean Martin Show.
M Fox screwed up... He had early on-set Parkinson’s and listened to the wrong folks and had part of his brain removed. You can’t undo that. My spouse also has early onset Parkinson’s and she’s had it for a lot longer than he has.
We rejected the surgery... She had the deep brain stimulation done, which is reversible. He plainly got bad advice which he will never recover from.
I’ve never watched a sitcom for more than five minutes in my life, because that creepy laugh track that they put in them is very annoying. It kicks in every ten seconds or so, whether or not anybody says something funny. And it doesn’t even sound like real human laughter. Very unpleasant. I’d rather go watch some toons. Like Teen Titans Go. Or Tuff Puppy. Or my current favorite, Wander Over Yonder.
I've been watching Reign too, and enjoying it.
Yeah, NBC had an ironclad lock on Thursday night. I still watch some of those shows on Hulu.
Screw the little twerp.
From what I understood, we were supposed to watch it out of sympathy .... but then they misunderstood that a lot of us don’t do things that we are “supposed” to do.
Things didn’t shake out I guess.
not all sitcoms have the laugh track. The Crazy Ones, New Girl and Community do not.
Watched 2 episodes. It was poorly written. The actress who played his wife was terrible. Not a funny show. Expected it to be cancelled sooner actually.
I gotta agree. I’d rather pay one government employee to do nothing than get a dozen government employees for free who want to do something.
The new Fox show was promoted with the undercurrent that there was a moral obligation to watch it because he was sick, but making the best of it.
Must... refrain from... making... terrible comment.
I never saw the show. Did they use the shakey cam technique?
Made it for you.
We also don’t do the things we’re accused of doing; so oppressed individuals (women, Blacks, homos) have to create their own fake-but-accurate events to show how mean we are.
He laughs at stuff on TV way more often than I do, and even he said it was not funny, except for one laugh at the end. Which I didn't think was funny at all. Very mediocre.
Basing a sitcom on someone's disease, which apparently the pilot demonstrated, has a very, very short "funny" life, in my opinion. That gets old real fast.
And I liked Fox a lot in "Family Ties." He definitely has talent, or did.
“Must... refrain from... making... terrible comment.”
Oh, go ahead. (I’m laughing!)
The only reason I watch parks and rec. i wish he had his own show!
I’m too important to watch TV.
I got his signature!
Yes I mocked him, I do that because he has done what you describe on purpose and not as offense to anyone who has Parkinsons and who isn't a disingenuous jerk like he is.
[ He had early on-set Parkinsons and listened to the wrong folks and had part of his brain removed. ]
What part did they remove? His frontal lobe?
” And I liked Fox a lot in “Family Ties.” He definitely has talent, or did. “
His Talent ended in the mid 90’s with the last back to the Future film...
Watched the first ep. It just wasn’t funny.
I heard the show got off to a shaky start...
I didn’t know he had a show. Was it any funnier than the Gay Ellen Show?
“What part did they remove? His frontal lobe?”
No, I don’t think so.
Parkinson-ism involves brain cells in the Basal Ganglia. I would assume it was there...
Oh that is just wrong....bwahahahaha.
The ratings were too shaky...
Shaking up the lineup, eh?
I got some more:
Buck Rogers in the 25th Century
and kicking it really old school:
Bah Bah Black Sheep
‘Ive never watched a sitcom for more than five minutes in my life, because that creepy laugh track that they put in them is very annoying. “
The Office (UK version) and Parks and Recreation don’t have them. Very ‘dry’ kind of humor - I think a lot of adlibbing. I enjoy them but YMMV. You’ll know in 5 minutes.
Personally I found the US version of The Office, unlike the original UK one, absolutely boring.
