I’m not making this up, but on election day 2004 I went to a Shell gas station and the clerk - in all seriousness - asked if I would watch the store while he went out and beat up some pro-Bush campaigners who were standing at a nearby street corner. Of course I declined. And just in the past year we’ve had mayors of major cities declare the Chick-Fil-A is not welcome in their towns.

You could have said yes to the shell clerk, and then robbed him blind.

On second thought, you dont have to rob him blind. Just say yes, and as soon as his back was turned, walk away and leave the station.
