Is Greta Van Susteren of FOX News still a member of the Scientology Church?

All I could find was an article from 1998. Is this true?

If she is, as long as she doesn’t preach it on her news show: “so what?”

How is her facelift holding up?

Are facelifts part of Scientology Doctrine?

For starters, it’s hard to take anyone serious that believes that bilge (of course other than actors, of course.)

I have a problem accepting cults...

Operation Snow White was the Church of Scientology's internal name for a major criminal conspiracy during the 1970s to purge unfavorable records about Scientology and its founder L. Ron Hubbard. This project included a series of infiltrations and thefts from 136 government agencies, foreign embassies and consulates, as well as private organizations critical of Scientology, carried out by Church members, in more than 30 countries. It was the single largest infiltration of the United States government in history with up to 5,000 covert agents. This operation also exposed the Scientology plot 'Operation Freakout', because Operation Snow White was the case that initiated the US government investigation of the Church.

I can remember reading that Greta was in Scientology either in the 80’s or 90’s. I’ve heard nothing since.

IDK...check on Greta's status with Xenu, dictator of the Galactic Confederacy*

*Brought to you from the mind of the late huckster, all-round phony, and lousy sci-fi writer L. Ron Hubbard.

Who gives a damn either way? What if she were a Catholic? Or a “Holy Roller”? You can find groups that consider almost any religion to be a cult. Who is to judge?

She’s the best and most inquisitive reporter on the air and that is good enough for me.

You’re judging that people who judge what are stupid evil cults and what are not are bad.

That’s being ...judgmental! Who are you to judge people who judge!

Scientologists are the new Jews.

Me personally, when I tried to read Dianetics book some 35 years ago I couldn’t get past the first 5 pages so it’s not for nor never been for me.

But look what it’s evolved into. A business club of sorts, like Jews, Mormans, Old school Japanese and Chinese. First rule of thumb .... exhaust your belief network before going to outsiders with your money.

I’ve been inside the Hollywood and Clearwater facilities for business purposes. They had lots of rooms, lots of doors and lots of pictures 8x5 pictures of LRH in various Naval attire gazinging lovingly towards the sky.

I still remember the TV commercials in the early 70’s for Dianetics by L Ron Hubbard. I was probably 6 or 7 years old but I still can picture the galactic look of the TV screen.

I read that there was a Scientologist movie produced in 2013 called, “After Earth.” I have been wondering if the Scientologist movie was the the one that hired the private detective to smear the Christian movie song.

She was born and raised a Catholic; she graduated from Xavier High School in Appleton, Wisconsin, the alma mater of the great Rocky Bleier, Notre Dame and later Pittsburgh Steelers star running back.

i hear you... i do think she has gotten better through the years, especially compared with her CNN days... but i stopped watching FOX News (and all television news) when Obama won the Presidency in 2008... whenever i catch anything from FOX News, it is here on FR, or sometimes a clip someone posts on FaceBook...

Actually, “Slaves of Sleep” was a pretty good book.

I feel that, if he’d gone straight, LRH would have been a decent SF/fantasy writer.

Not of Bradbury/Sturgeon quality, but pretty decent.

Amen. She is a real pro, perhaps the best at what she does.
If her choice of who or what she worships offends people
then they should avoid her. But, as far as I’m concerned the
nosy bedwetters can go to hell.
