It has been getting a lot of coverage locally. One sister was a psychotherapist, and the other was a teacher at a Hebrew Academy. The sister who had been stripped naked had her body covered in bleach (which, according to the CSI shows, is to destroy any DNA evidence)
East Liberty is a Pittsburgh neighborhood where civilization had essentially ended. Until recently when Google moved into an old Nabisco bakery and started hiring tons of people. So some brave young professionals have started to move back in.
Wonder how she'll feel about these things now.
True, but you should never allow stats to lull you into a false sense of security. Residents and prospective buyers or renters are told their neighborhood is safe, so they get careless about such things as leaving their vehicles unlocked or walking through dark alleys at night. Then they wonder how they became crime victims.

As do I, however, the identity, details and history of the perp will color the crime, when they get the scum.
Well, Ms Mary Wolfe I am a big believer in violently exterminating these murdering scum.
I hope Pennsylvania has the death penalty. In Texas we take too long in using it but at least some of our cockroaches eventually get to meet Lucifer ahead of time.

I more and more believe this sort of senseless inhuman crime should be solved, tried and the perp or perps executed within 60 days. No exceptions.

Dr Sarah Wolfe was triple board certified in pediatrics, adult psychiatry, and child psychiatry. Her specialty was victims of domestic abuse. Word all around is that she was a lovely person. She was at Western Psychiatric Institute - the local “mental” hospital. No reason to believe her work had anything to do with this crime.
With respect, not true. Chislett is primarily Morningside. It starts on Butler Street by the river. Where it intersects Stanton Avenue, it becomes the East Liberty neighborhood.
Heth’s Run (a hill) and Negley Run are the defining boundaries around Highland Park.
No argument about how the neighborhoods - Highland Park, East Liberty, even Morningside - have gone downhill. It’s shocking and very sad.
Someone above said a “grainy video” from the bus showed the guy, but did not provide details. Latest is that they sat together on the bus....
What makes me believe it is a black is the fact the stolen car was deserted in the blighted business district of East Liberty, by the branch of the library, the “Fountain,” and - perhaps significantly, the East Liberty Presbyterian Church, which provides a homeless shelter for men. No white person would go to this area after dark.
The police reported Susan had associations with “homeless men” - how does a 44 yr old woman with a job in a solidly middle class Jewish neighborhood, at a private Orthodox Jewish school, who is very new in town, come to hang out with homeless men?
But the fact the stolen car was deserted 4 minutes away from the crime scene, by the neighborhood homeless shelter, is an odd detail - on a 10 degree cold night, did he head for the only place in the area he knew?
The killer arrived at the house by foot, after a bus ride. Details indicate it was a planned killing. How did he expect to make his escape from the murder scene? On foot? By Bus? Was he waiting for Sarah, so he could steal her car, or was that just luck?
He beat Susan severely before he shot her dead. As bleach was used, sexual assault is suspected. He was in the house for hours - what was he doing? He would have to have been covered in blood - did he wash his clothes in the basement?
Latest report from police is that Susan was seated by the man on the bus, and that they disembarked at the same time. She told work she couldn’t stay late Thursday because she had an appointment. With this guy?
WPXI. There must have been a whole three seconds of the grainy video. He looked like one of Holder’s people, late 30s to mid 40s, medium build, dressed like a bum.

If she was a shrink, she was probably trying to help homeless people, many if not most of whom are nuts. A kind but naive and dangerous thing to do, but for liberals a common occurrence. Lacking any evidence to the sordid, I’ll put it down to misplaced good intentions.
