Gore Vidal (RIP), the long-time protagonist of William F. Buckley Jr. (RIP ) at NPR’s the Firing Line, was an openly gay man when it was not popular to “out” oneself in the 60’s ( Buckley actually called him Queer on TV ).
Anyway, this is what he wrote:
“We are all bisexual to begin with. That is a fact of our condition. And we are all responsive to sexual stimuli from our own as well as from the opposite sex. Certain societies at certain times, usually in the interest of maintaining the baby supply, have discouraged homosexuality. Other societies, particularly militaristic ones, have exalted it. But regardless of tribal taboos, homosexuality is a constant fact of the human condition and it is not a sickness, not a sin, not a crime ... despite the best efforts of our puritan tribe to make it all three. Homosexuality is as natural as heterosexuality. Notice I use the word ‘natural,’ not normal.”
“Sexual orientation has nothing to do with choice. Our findings suggest...”
So their findings only suggest, but they still feel free to announce a definitive statement? These aren’t scientists, they are political advocates.
“But he also added this caveat, The Daily Mail said: “Although this [finding] could one day lead to a prenatal test for male sexual orientation, it would not be very accurate, as there are other factors that can influence the outcome.””
Hmm, does it stop doctors from pushing heavily for abortions when their tests for birth defects are not that accurate? Nope. It won’t stop people from aborting babies that might be gay either.
Yet, No ONE can definitively identify anywhere in the DNA where such genes exist. What a load of BS. There is a higher likelihood that homosexual tendencies are learned as compared to the possibility of this behavior being coded into a person's DNA.
“...the desire for unlimited promiscuity” is what makes a homosexual lifestyle difficult for men to reject, but it isn’t the cause of homosexuality.

In a study at Chicago University, researchers looked at DNA chains of 400-plus pairs of gay brothers and found what they said were two distinct bits of genetic material that they claim are linked to homosexuality.
Evidence of even more junk science polluting knowledge.
Meaningless drivel. A claim isn't scientific evidence.
The gay DNA hypothesis is FALSE. If it were true, they would have all died out aeons ago.

Well, The most widespread and socially significant form of same-sex sexual relations in ancient Greece was between adult men and pubescent or adolescent boys, known as pederasty.

There are women who abort healthy babies when they discover they have twins or triplets and only wanted one.

Well, if one believes in the Theory of Evolution and the Survival of the Fittest, this genetic trait does not make for survival of the human specie.
And why do pairs of identical twins not always have the same “orientation?”
And why do so many switch back and forth...
And what about the majority that are basically just indiscriminate?
And,,,, where did the genes come from, eh? If neither parent is gay,,, it’s just so confusing! Does each parent have a regressive gay gene, that when combined produces a gay offspring?
