Norwegian Police: Boy Driver, 10, Claimed to Be a Dwarf

Norwegian police said a 10-year-old boy who got his family's car stuck in a snowy ditch attempted to pass himself off as a dwarf.

Vestoppland Police Officer Kai Lyshaugen said the boy and his 18 month old sister awoke in the night and he decided to bring the toddler along for a joyride in the family car to their grandmother's house, about 18 miles away, TheLocal.no reported Thursday.

Police said the car ended up in a ditch and the boy told a passing snowplow driver he was dwarf of legal driving age and ended up stuck when he tried to make a U-turn to go back home for his driver's license.

"He asked for help to tow his vehicle so they could continue their journey," Lyshaugen said.

Lyshaugen said the boy and the toddler, who were not wearing seat belts, were not harmed. The children were returned to their parents.

This is exactly why automatic transmissions need to be banned, for the children.

He is either a good BS’er or a conniving little brat..

Not many adults are able to think that fast.

The old what is the difference between Rozy Ruiz and a dwarf pickpocket?

One is a cunning runt.

If this had happened in the United States, he would have been banned from ever getting a drivers license, and the 2 kids would have been removed from their home and placed in foster care.
