We're not sure about this finding. We don't know any 20-something (or young 30-something) straight couples who met in San Francisco (correction: as we were telling our co-workers about this "study," we identified two couples in the office), but beyond them, we know none.
But according to a recent study from NerdWallet, we're wrong, and San Francisco is a great place to be a single, heterosexual woman. This seems odd, as it was only in 2012, that a study by Men's Health found San Francisco was a great place to be a guy -- because of all the single women.

LOL. The media has now become the perfect reverse barometer of the truth.
Well, the portion of the article I read is certainly counter-intuitive.
Well, the stereotype is that there are relatively few “straight” men there...........

Back in the 80s the ABC show “Fridays” had a sketch about the last straight man in SF. It was hilarious.
Yeah, I’m going to say the #1 in the category of single men is deceptive for SF, as many of those guys have switched teams.
I know a woman who had to move from SF to Texas to find a straight man to marry.
For single straight women who don’t want to get hit on that is.

Knew a guy who lived in the Marina District, the center of heterosexual night life in San Fran. According to him, it was ridiculously easy for a decent-looking straight man to pull women there.
He noted, however, that they were almost all damaged, brittle, slutty left-wing freaks with a lot of tattoos and Daddy issues. He always wore a condom and never took a single one home to meet his folks. Most of them never got a second call after their turn serving as the receptacle for his selfish gratification.

NYC seems even better for a single guy.
Lots of young ladies come here from all over the world because many industries girls are into are pretty much only here.
A huge chunk of young men here are also gay. If you’re straight, decent looking and can pay your own way, you can meet a new beautiful girl here every day.
I mean, if you think it through you might decide, we'll yeah, that means a lot more available girls for guys like me, but there is still the Ewwwww.... factor.

Another issue that the media hides or never discusses is the STD issues in San Francisco ...which is another reason Str8 males are hard to find ...and why many str8 males avoid the social life in SF ... just sayin

New York is filled with gold digging women with meh looks, although I met my Brasileira there. There are 49 states with better looking women than New York.
