(Reuters) - Actress Ellen Page, who was nominated for an Oscar for her role in "Juno," came out as a lesbian on Friday at a Las Vegas conference for gay teens.
"I am tired of hiding and I am tired of lying by omission," the 26-year-old actress said in a speech that drew roaring support from an audience at the Time to Thrive conference sponsored by the Human Rights Campaign.

Yeah, that’s a toss-up. First thing I thought was “If only the one on the left were a lesbian....”
I wonder, if it’s really that important to any of them, why don’t they accept only those roles where they can be “true” to themselves.
But one thing hollyweird types do seem to have in common is controversy and/or drama of some sort ... (no matter how humiliating) LOOK at ME!!!!
That transgender "woman" who made headlines in Canada last week when the authorities put her in a men's jail, was over from the UK to visit her girlfriend.
The "lesbian trapped in a man's body" isn't just a joke anymore.
That poor woman is a trainwreck. Claims she was sexually molested by her father who in turn led a secret homosexual life.
While Patricia Heaton is very pro-life, which is very rare in Hollywood, she still follows the industry line on gay rights. That issue, it seems, stands above all others. I’m sure Maria Conchita Alonso also supports gay rights, considering her attempted appearance in “The Vagina Monologues”. Of course, she broke a cardinal rule by supporting a conservative politician.
Patricia Heaton is conservative, but she does support gay marriage as do other Hollywood “conservatives” like Clint Eastwood. How many big name people in Hollywood support traditional marriage?
