Driver Crashes Maserati Into Yard, Leaves Car (Left Maserati)

A San Jose neighborhood is stunned after a driver crashed a Maserati into a home's yard and left it there.

Police are investigating the wreck -- which happened on Maywood Avenue, off Bascom Avenue, Thursday night.

"Our home actually shook. Literally shook," Shari Delgado Miscevic said. "You thought maybe there was an earthquake."

Neighbors said the luxury car was careening down Maywood Avenue when it hit a dip in the road. The vehicle then spun out of control and hit a parked car before taking out a nearby fence.

Officials said the driver and a passenger fled after the crash.

The California Highway Patrol said the Maserati was not reported stolen and the registered owner is not a suspect. The crash remains under investigation.

No license. No insurance. No registration. Adios!

Happens all the time here in Mexifornia...

(And little or nothing at all is done about it...)

Finders keepers. I wish somebody would dump a maserati in my front yard. Better yet, a 57 Chevy.

I’m not greedy.

I’d be happy with a HemiCuda.

If it isn’t stolen property, it is abandoned property, and I would sell the parts on Ebay.

I’d take the Maserati. Then I could sell it and buy two ‘57 Chevys. Which I would also rather have.

My boys would have had that Maserati parted out and sold before the sun came up!

Is that where I left it? That explains the police cruiser in the garage. Jeepers, what a night.

Crashed into a HOME’S yard? The home owns a yard? The owner says the house shook. It must have been frightened.
