While throwing a public temper tantrum is childish and inappropriate at best, it is not a major crime, any more than the chasing after to defuse the whole thing by the husband was. I remember when cops were admonished to not interfere in a domestic dispute that was not a knock-down drag-out unless they had been asked to do so by someone involved-but I’m sure it is a lot more fun for them to beat someone to death for arguing in public...
I have an awful Hispanic temper, but self control is possible for anyone-and it appears, safer in Moore, Oklahoma. I don’t like the use of lawsuits as a sovereign remedy, but I hope these cops not only lose their jobs, but that a judge and jury tear them a new one...
That would all be right and good for most of us but not for the Police. They are immune and the Law does not apply to them. Essentially they can kill or maim whomever they desire to kill or maim for good reasons or from whim.
Welcome to the Police state comrades.
Yeah, you are correct here. But it will never happen as the cops are immune to prosecution. And in the rare event that they are successfully sued, the government picks up the tab, and they never see a jail from the inside. The actual criminals here are never touched.
Seems to me it is about time that concerned citizens take a look into this behavior, and take action: preventative action; and retribution for past crimes.
I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often. It is a testament to the law-abiding nature of the American people. When that character starts to change, I don't think the police or other powers that be are really going to enjoy it much.

I am not sure that a character change is required. I think it is more of coming to a state of being totally fed-up with lawlessness on the part of government officials, LEO, and others that are sworn to uphold the law. When the ones that are tasked to uphold the law won’t/don’t, someone has to step in. And it will be, reluctantly but forcefully, the everyday American.
And you are right: the LEOs and other government officials will not like it... Not at all...
Yep, better obey Massah and hopefully Massah won’t beat you anyway....
