Netflix doesn’t have “Passage to Marseille.” That is fine with me, since Crowther tells us that “Michael Curtiz has directed the action in a ponderous, melodramatic style.” If it seemed melodramatic in 1944 it might be hard to take in 2014 – HJS.

Passage to Marseille is among my least-favorite Bogart movies.
