Beat me to it.

Someone needs to explain to these guys that .416 Rigby is high-powered, that .300 Savage and .30-06 are high-powered ..... but those hot varmint rounds like .17 Remington, .220 Swift, and .223 are NOT "high-powered".

I wouldn't want to get hit with any of them, but "high power" is a phrase with meaning, and the writers need to discover what that is.

Perhaps not - and I understand your point, but if you're hit by one, it probably feels plenty powerful enough.
