He says liberal media has gotten as bad as conservative media. I guess he thought liberal media was great when he could go on and call for Henry Hyde’s family to be stoned.

His career is over so he wants to try to get in the last word. funny

He beat his first wife and called his daughter all kinds of names. Alec needs 24/7 counseling while locked in a padded cell.

Despite having his eyes opened about MSNBC and other liberal media outlets, Bill De Blasio, the gay mafia, Baldwin is still unable or unwilling to take the next logical step. For him, the real baddies will always be conservatives.

The world is going through some major trouble and all those pathetic liberals do is huge boring pointless essays on local gay dealers. What is wrong with them?

Wasn’t he one of those guys who was going to leave the country if Bush won against Gore? I’m not holding by breath. But I am holding my nose.

“It came off like a drunken phone call.”
Good call there, but unlike you, I had to read the whole thing. Here’s what you missed:

He compared Mika to Margaret Dunning ( who was the comic foil in the Marx Brothers movies ). That had to hurt.

“Morning Joe was boring. Scarborough is neither eloquent nor funny.”

He said Phil Griffin, head of MSNBC, “couldn’t give a flying f**k about content.”

“The problem with everybody on MSNBC is none of them are funny, although that doesn’t prevent them from trying to be.”

“I watched MSNBC prior to working there . . . It turned out to be the same s**t all day long.”

He called Anderson Cooper the “self-appointed Jack Valenti of gay media culture.”

Baldwin didn’t realize that calling a TMZ guy a “toxic little queen” would be offensive or considered homophobic.

He said Maddow basically runs MSNBC, and he called her “a phony who doesn’t have the same passion for the truth off-camera that she seems to have on the air.”

He regards the media as “superfluous at best and toxic at its worst.” The media measures you by “how you are on your worst day.”

“The heart, the arteries of the country are now clogged with hate.”

He considered running for office. Says he would have decentralized the schools and changed the paparazzi laws.
He would “reduce NY’s shameful tax burden.” Says he doesn’t “think liberal or progressive; just common sense.”

“Shia LaBeouf went to a film screening recently and he wore a bag over his head and the bag says I AM NOT FAMOUS ANYMORE. And there was truly a part of me that felt sorry for him, oddly enough.”

“Warren Beatty, who is mystifyingly intelligent and wise, said to me: Your problem is a very basic one, and it’s very common to actors. And that’s when we step in front of a camera, we feel the need to make it into a moment.”

It sounded to me that the kind of show he wanted to put on MSNBC was kind of like Buckley’s Firing Line or the Dick Cavett show - albeit without the wit and intelligence.

Bye bye Alec, we hardly knew ye.

You’re right...wasn’t that when Bush got elected? Can’t remember if it was first or second time.

Alec Baldwin to his first daughter, Ireland, via voice mail:

Are we supposed to be outraged by this? I can think of a few times as a child when my parents called me rude and thoughtless (among other things). They were right at the time.

Baldwin is not as bad as the press make him out. I rather think he’s too conservative for their likes.

I've often thought his Jack Donaghy character on 30 Rock was one of the best written and acted conservative roles on television.

Baldwin could've played him as a buffoon but he didn't. Baldwin played it straight making Donaghy the mature adult surrounded by a sea of idiots and children --and got some of the best lines.

ok, so you are an Alec Baldwin fan, and an apologist for adults with impulsive anger management issues.

Beyond that, I was raised to reprimand behavior--not to dehumanize a child--particularly by calling them a pig who lacks brains and human decency. All this because the child didn't answer the phone. This wasn't a case of a child touching a hot stove or running into the street. Think about it.

Alec Bladwin was sensational in Mamet’s Glengarry Glen Ross movie. Mamet was once a very staunch liberal, and then as he put’s it, woke up. He’s now, or at least, says he is a born again conservative.

Baldwin’s characters tend to be conservative, so I think maybe he might have a revelation about his politics now that he’s woken up to the reality of liberal thinking medias.
