Freakin' ridiculous.
“One of our grandkids practically went into a come for a couple days after getting seven shots in one day.”
That you have lived long enough to have grand kids that have lived long enough to give you joy is in no small part due to those shots you criticize.
I question the intelligence of a mother that schedules 7 shots in one day.
It’s not like Dr.s give those shots w/o consent of the parent. You can choose to make multiple appointments and do them two at a time several days or a week apart.
I refused the hepatitis series entirely for my infants, choosing to delay that series until they were pre-teens. Didn’t do the chicken pox until Jr. High.
I am a strong believer in vaccines, just not that you absolutely have to follow the recommended schedule, which is designed for urban and or turd world populations and not for rural, homeschooling families with many many fewer risk factors.
Ya. Sorry to hear it.
Scary from the other side too. There are some really nasty diseases like Polio that are just waiting to come back if we stop immunizing people.
Just travel to India some time. I got so many booster shots that BOTH of my arms hurt for a week.
