Again, what's all that got to do with homeschooling?

well I explained it for you, I just can't understand it for you.

Yes, but I don't see where you got he 200 from.

It's in the DM article:

"In a show of support by parents in the community, about 200 people came out to support the 'much beloved teacher', reports the Press of Atlantic City."

Okay now I understand it in context.
If I had to guess I would say it would be a cross section, mostly teachers and the parents of former students.

No you didn’t explain anything.

You have merely asked if they were likely to have learned that from their parents, at home or if the parents might not be fit of model parents for homeschooling.

Since these are public school kids, the question is irrelevant.

So again, I’ll ask you. Since these are public school kids, do you think that their parents are models of public school parents?

Should we broad brush all public school parents based on the behavior of these kids?

Face it.

You’re losing badly.

You’ve been PWND, which as a teacher, I’m sure you know what that means.

If that is what it takes to make you feel; better about yourself, then you go right ahead. I will continue to pray for you.

You always resort to the smarmy “I’ll be praying for you” when you’ve lost.

You’ve avoided answering my questions even given several opportunities to do so.

It’s plain for all to see that you’ve bailed.

It must be very difficult having me live in your head 24/7/365 rent free. I pity you, that is why I pray for you and your sad pathetic little existence. Feel free to have the last word, maybe it will make you feel better about yourself.

Dream on. I’ve got WAY more unimportant things to dwell on than you.

But if it makes you feel better to think that, then by all means, entertain yourself.

Verga:

Thank you for including me in the post.

Responding to the post - I agree. It is hard for a teacher/parent/police officer/fireman/nanny state/etc. to know what goes behind a closed door in a facility/home/institution/school/prison/bathroom/etc.

I agree on there is a lack of evidence to support the teacher causing this behavior. Although, children playing “doctor” is not too terribly uncommon - I did.

Now, as to the education threads themselves, I am done with them. Each time I try to post something about an educational thread on here, it is hijacked by “trolls” who change the topics and subject to something other than the thread topic.

I have been accused of the same, so I have taken the high road. I have students who need my attention. They are more important that FR threads hijacked by a minority of rabid posters who do nothing more than spew vitriol and desire to hear their own echoes.

I am, of course, speaking *generally* and not mentioning specific people/posters.

So, best to all of you and yours. Verga: do pray and entreat the saints on my part too - I have fallen away from the Church and wonder if I should return.
