Ukraine Synagogue Firebombed Amid Protests

A synagogue in eastern Ukraine was firebombed over the weekend amid the mass protests that toppled President Viktor Yanukovych, the International Business Times (IBT) reports.

The Giymat Rosa Synagogue in Zaporizhia, located 250 miles southeast of Kiev, was attacked by unknown individuals, the report said, citing the Russian-language Timenews.in.ua news site.

No one was injured, local authorities said. Minor damages were caused to the building. Photos published by the website showed traces of a fire on the facade a balcony. …

I am referencing the Jews of the past that have been persecuted not the “Esau” types that have sold their own birthright down the river for the sweet song of Liberalism, like the liberal socialist Jews that live safely in New York who whine about how bad Israel is. Those Jews are just Cultural Jews as they have become anti-religious, they are about as Jewish as Nancy Pelosi is Catholic.

I was trying to illustrate how in history that Misplaced Envy itself is one of the main enemies of the Jewish people taken as a group.

The same phenomenon also occurs as friction between Asians and Blacks in the inner cities of America. The Asians push their children to succeed because that is part of their culture and the black inner city “yutes” view this hard work and dedication towards education as “stealing from them” somehow. Ukraine's Unfinished Revolution Sparks Hope for Jews - February 27, 2014 - The firebombing of the Chabad synagogue took place in the town of Zaporozhye but caused little damage, according to the news site Chabad.org. Nevertheless, it understandably frightened some in the community.

According to Josef Zissels, a prominent leader in the Jewish community, it’s still not understood who was responsible for the attack.

While Yanukovych was still president, bands of government-funded thugs were frequently hired to intimidate anti-government protesters and provoke fear and discord in the anti-government protest movement. These groups were especially active in Ukraine’s south and east, a region where Zaporozhye is located. Their presence became so common that a special word entered the vernacular to describe them: titushki.

Zissels said it was not unreasonable to think that groups like the titushki were responsible for this attack, using it to spread fear that the new Euromaidan-backed government will allow a new wave of anti-Semitism to hit Ukraine. “Mainstream events that are going on in Ukraine don’t involve anti-Semitism in any way,” he said.
