Hunger Ravaged Starving Hordes Gather In Syria: “The Devastation is Unbelievable”
SHTF Plan ^ | 2/26/14 | Mac Slavo

For most Americans the crisis is over. For the people of Syria, war rages on and the fight for survival continues.

According to The Daily Mail, over 120,000 people are without food, water, medicine and essential services in Syria’s capital city of Damascus. Many are starving to death. Humanitarian aid has been slow to come amid complications with Syrian leadership, continued fighting in the country and the sheer size of the population requiring assistance.

This is what it looks like when a country’s entire infrastructure is completely destroyed and its safety nets fall apart.

People searching for resources as far as the eye can see…

"I’m old but healthy. I could possibly live 10 more years."

Ditto.

My preps are starting to get old.
I scrambled and was prepared for the crash that was 'certain' to happen in the summer of 2010.
I just don't know anymore....

Remember in the 1950s thru 1980s when American farmers fed the world? Remember? Then we became the bad guys to the enviro-weenies.

Yeah interesting to wonder, and I don’t think Damascus has reached that point, but who really know what things are like on the ground, the mainstream media in this country is consumed with trivial nonsense and puff stories designed to make this administration appear competent,

The current images and especially that image from the link is horrifying, so much so I had to wonder if was Photoshopped,

I don’t believe the prophecy about Damascus requires instant destruction, however sudden destruction is very clearly outlined for rich and wealthy ‘Babylon the Great’ at the time of the end. She lives too well, better than others, and falls in one hour of one day from a surprise attack,

Looking at the pictures of the fighting in the Ukraine, the protests in Venezuela and elsewhere, and while these kinds of things have always been, it does remind me that even during the tribulation period (which has not started yet) there will be poor people and rich people and buying and selling and in many places business as usual (until its their turn) despite increasingly bad things coming upon the Earth,

My point being, the picture in the link looks a whole lot like what we might think of as happening in what Jesus himself called the ‘great tribulation’ if that scene was in NYC or Seattle,

I think that we in America, sheltered in the past from so many of these things, often have prophetic tunnel vision thinking its only the tribulation if its happening on our doorstep, or everywhere at once,

I maintain that when this world (principalities and powers, Satan) using the USA/UN or whoever or whenever to accomplish the division and separation of what God restored in 1948 (Israel) and 1967 (Jerusalem), then this will be when the tribulation follows, it will occur after that event, and I wouldn’t pretend know how soon, whether days, weeks or years, but only that it will be after,

And if this nation with these spiritually wicked men in power here today, do play some evil role in causing that division, then those same kinds of scenes pictured in Syria will come here,

I am tired of rotating food!

I have a couple of sets of 25 year foods too. I would have to be over 100 years old!

I have had to update first aid supplies in bug out overnight outfit, bug out 3 day bag, 7 day rolling bag, and long term survival duffle-bag for the car.

Now I had to add a bug-back bag in case I am away from home and have to cross the river to get to my supplies.

I know “Be Prepared” is the way to be, but it has been several years now! Not complaining about that! Never would be fine too!

I do remember.

As member of the US Navy in the early 60's, I remember when we went ashore in foreign countries how we were greeted with much respect, etc.

In the bars, everyone wanted to buy us a drink and talk and just be around us.

I appreciate your insights. I’m sure you have seen Obama/Kerry’s most recent Mideast peace plan. If not, you need to Google it. Their plan is to divide up Jerusalem in addition to trying to get Israel to give up other areas.

I am glad that you know the glory we used to enjoy.
Sigh.
