I always thought Fred was the funniest one in the show.

My Mother always thought Lucy was just silly.

My Sister named her Daughter “Jennifer”. I think at one time half of all girls were named Jennifer.

I was a kid when I Love Lucy came on TV. I have to agree with both you and your Mom but at that time it was the combination I guess that’s made the show so popular. I definitely thought the humor of Fred was the best.

Even as a kid I thought Desi was funny but couldn’t understand how he’d been a singing and musical talent, he couldn’t carry a tune in a basket. LOL

My opinion of Frawley was lowered when I learned he treated Vivian Vance like crap.

IRC I've read that he wasn't particularly well liked by anyone associated with the show.He apparently had a liking for the bottle which,if true, would lend credence to stories of unpopularity.

He was very difficult to work with according to many affiliated with the show. Just an SOB on and off the set.

I was reading some comment about Fred and his pants on the I Love Lucy show.

They couldn't get over how he buckled them so high up his belly.

"I was waiting for the episode where Fred's pants were buckled so high up that they covered his head."

A very young (and blonde) Lucille Ball was in the FIRST Three Stooges short film.

I remember reading somewhere that he was an alcoholic. Not sure if true or not but that might explain why he was difficult to work with.

Well, if you’re talking about the football-themed short, prominently featuring Ball, “Three Little Pigskins,” it was actually the 3rd or 4th Three Stooges short.

In the first short, “Woman Haters” (also from 1934), Marjorie White was the blonde. A funny little comedienne, she died in a car wreck the following year. But technically, this Columbia film, even though starring the Stooges, was really part of a “Musical Novelties” series of shorts that the studio did. It was still packaged in with the syndicated Stooge films years later, though. The next short, the first ‘official’ Stooge one, would have been “Punch Drunks.”

Of course, even before those were the dozen or so MGM Stooge shorts, which featured Ted Healy lording over them. Never thought too much of those.
