Good morning!

Ruskies moving on Crimea. BO isn’t answering the three AM phone call.

More cold ahead. Winter won’t let go!

Good morning n’@!

Sneakers, how are your shower plans? Been thinking of you! NO snow forecast for your day (Saturday) but some predicted for Sunday and (possibly) ALOT for Sunday night Monday day/night. The moisture for the (possible) BIG one is from the pacific system that is finally bringing rain to California...it moves straight across the plains then, hits a warm boundary to our south...and BAM->big snow for S. Pa and then up the NE coast.

I don’t think Quinn raises early anymore...his Tweets are midday now.

Anyone hear from Greg? I hope he & Mrs B are better. We are still hacking & wheezing here, and I know he said she had pneumonia but if he updated her condition, I missed it. I hope all is well for them.

Your shower will be lovely...all that pink stuff!

We still have some “retro” toys around here (that grandbaby plays w/when they are in town). From our oldest we have a set of Lincoln logs that have little plastic cowboys and indigenous people. We “build” she knocks down (and squeals) and the “people” are tucked away for a future, non PC sale on eBay:)

I’ll bet Pootie wouldn’t mind getting back at least a little bit of the territory they lost when the Soviet Union fell. Sounds like the Russkies in Ukraine wouldn’t mind it either!

14 degrees here. Blech! We’re on the budget plan for People’s Gas. I’ll bet it goes waaayy up when they recalculate in another few months!

Dang computer is really slow today!

Well, I’ve got the basic stuff. It’s not going to be terribly fancy. Got some nice spring baskets shaped life picket fences that I’m going to put potted plants in - some kind of flowers. Got the table clothes in pink, light green and white. I’ve got the favors made and the games picked out. I’m going to try making a macaron topiary for the cookie table. I’ll send pictures if it works out!

I’m making pulled pork for sandwiches and pasta salad. Any ideas for appetizers or sides that are easy?

Greg checked in or Tuesday’s thread:

“Wife has been battling a cold on and off for weeks and we don’t sleep well. She had pneumonia and bronchitis..even had to visit to Med Express. I hate this weather...what have I missed? “

How long until their non-compete expires? I am REALLY tired of the other morning morons on the radio around here.

Their last day on the air was, I believe, November 17th. So the non-compete will end around the middle of May.

I hope they have good prospects for getting on the air! I CAN”T WAIT!!! I agree, the guys on the air right now - WPGB and KDKA - are total losers!

The best guy on local morning radio right now is the retired owner of an office supply store from Westmoreland County.

Hi Buckeye!

What’s his name? Does he have a podcast? I’ll try anything at this point. So far, the most interesting I’ve found is Jeff Kuhner up in Boston. His voice takes some getting used to though.

HI! thx for updated on Greg—hope he and Mrs B are feeling better:)

For a side fruit cups? Since your colors are pink/lt green and white...water melon, and honey dew “balls” served in plastic (the short ones) tumblers topped w/creme cheese marshmallow creme dip? I have gone crazy (in past) and cut a watermelon into a basket shape (time consuming!) but have done the individual servings (the tumblers) because it’s so much less time/prep work.

The dip is (using the tall jar of marshmallow Fluff) 1 jar to 2 bricks of creme cheese; use a hand (or stand mixer) and scoop onto cups. The dip is somewhat stiff right out the fridge, so you can make a swirly peak on top.

FReeP mail photos when you get a chance (I want to see the topiary:) ) and G-d bless the new addition to the Sneakers family <3 !!!

Ps...I meant to mention strawberries (as watermelon out of season) w/honey dew for fruit cups.
