I think that politics long ago ceased to be about individuals trying to do the right things. After Reagan's second term, politics became nothing more than career do-nothings trying to stay in office and stay on somebody's payroll.
Many of my posts have had to do with ranting about the failures of the RNC, Jorge Busho, et al. But no matter what anybody says, anymore, politicians of both parties are simply pandering to whatever demographic will keep them in office. At least, that's how it appears.
America is like a tree. When it was a sapling, somebody bent it in a circle. It grew like that. Now there's no way to straighten it out.
America itself is changing, and therefore priorities change. The conservative challenge is articulating how conservative solutions best serve segments of Americans, rather then telling them wrong.
Immigration is the obvious here. Legal immigrants here should be the biggest backers of enforcing the border. Conservative messaging completely misses this and makes it appears that conservatives hate brown people
One question please ... A circle has no beginning, no end and leads one to believe is God inspired ... What is wrong with a circle? I think I know what you are thinking ... 0?

Nope. For over 200 years America grew tall and strong. Then an evil disease took over. It began with Lyndon Baines Johnson and to this day his cronies seek to cut down and destroy the tree of Freedom and Democracy.
Lucky for us, our roots are still strong.
“It began with Lyndon Baines Johnson”
It started with Woodrow Wilson.
At least in the 1980s, I had a ‘generic’ confidence and trust in both the GOP and conservatives.
Now I have zero trust, faith or respect in the GOP. The backstabbing of Palin did it for me. Watershed moment. Altered my lifelong voting pattern. Similarly, even the perimeters of conservatism have grown diffuse. I see self-professed “conservative” voices in the media being not just pro-homo marriage, pro-dope, or pro-open borders... but ALL THREE! To hell with that, and to hell with them!
Wilson. Or maybe FDR. Some will argue Lincoln was our worst president ever. And I’ve no arguments against any of these choices.
But they were not the death blow. I credit LBJ with setting America on the fast track to destruction. With Barack Hussein Obastard as the second worse thing to ever infest our once great nation..
JMO.
If we allow that assumption, why was he the worst president?
And, thanks for posting.
At least, that's how it appears.
The ‘Lincoln was the worst president ever’ crowd are generally extreme states rights supporters who see Lincoln as the instigator in the Civil War as he valued the Union over the States.
I see their points, but since I don’t carry it to the extreme like some do, I can’t really explain it better than that.
Do a keyword search on worstpresident or lincoln or things like that. There have been many threads with hundreds of posts on that subject.
Or.... maybe some FReepers will be along in a minute with details with 5-6 thousand words on why Lincoln was so evil. I’ve seen threads evolve just like that (snapping fingers).
I would say that liberals rhetoric is that conservatives hate brown people. In my opinion it is the liberals who bring up the racial/ethnic angle to that subject.
you were thinking of zer0.
