McDonald's sued for $1.5 mil by customer after employee called 'Angel' only gave him one NAPKIN

A McDonald's customer is suing the fast food restaurant for $1.5million because he was given only one napkin with his meal.

Webster Lucas claims he is now unable to work because of the 'undue mental anguish' and 'emotional distress' caused by the incident.

He launched the lawsuit following a row with the store manager at the outlet in Pacoima, California, on January 29.

Tempers seem to have flared after Mr Lucas complained that he had received just a single paper towel with his Quarter Pounder Deluxe.

Mr Lucas, who is African-American, says the he was racially abused by the manager when he went back to the counter to ask for more, according to TMZ.

The employee, who is named only as 'Angel' and is said to be of Mexican-American appearance, is alleged to have mumbled something that sounded like 'you people', Mr Lucas claims.

Depends on how much money they are offered.

Unless the coffee has oil in it, the local boiling point is as hot as it can get. She was old enough to know the risk. Asking for a red cent from McDonalds was too much.

The issue is not how badly she was injured. The issue is who is responsible. If she spilled because she was rear-ended by the car behind her, that would be the person operating that car. If she spilled because the driver of the car she was in lurched forward, it would be that person’s responsibility. If the bottom just fell out of the cup due to a manufacturing defect, that would be a responsibility shared by McDonalds and the cup manufacturer.

I can’t believe that he found a lawyer who would take this.

I’m pretty sure there’s a napkin dispenser within customer reach. Is this guy suing himself?

Not to mention straws, spoons, or the rest of the order, which you must go inside to obtain. Thereby showing that although the purpose of the drive in window is not to go inside, that is irrelevant. You are right, one napkin is a good deal when none is the norm.

The election of Zero has given us exactly that ‘zero respect’ for business, taxpayer dollars, and the biggest hoax of all “racism accusations” everywhere to create the most chaos possible. The entitlement crowd do not want profiling for a reason, it tells us who the takers are, and who the givers are in this society.

Evidently, somewhere there is an attorney who agreed to take his case and file suit. Somewhere there is a judge who will listen to this drivel and likely let the case proceed. And hours of attorney time will build up taking depositions about the Great Napkin Outrage.

McDonalds will pay those fees even if they win. An ethical attorney or a common sense judge would never consider such a ludicrous suit and the "justice system" grinds on. Were I the judge, I would throw both the plaintiff and his attorney in jail for contempt of court.

I was in McDonalds once where some work was being done and a wall outlet had been uncovered. A couple of punks walked in and immediately noticed it and started talking about how they could fake an accident and sue.

I asked to talk to the manager and got the owner who happened to be there and pointed it out to him. By the time I left he had dragged a couple of trash cans over and put up some caution tape around the spot.

wow! That's cool. One time I didn't get enough ketchup. That should easily be worth $5 million!

Seriously though, I went to a Chinese take out restaurant in a food court and only got one sweet and sour packet for a large fried rice.
When I politely asked the owner for a second one he yelled “ONE IS ENOUGH!”

I never bought anything there again and probably cost him $5000 in business by telling that story. I did however take all the free samples that were offered when his employees or wife would stand in the food court. I had no idea that I was owed MILLIONS for his rude behavior...

When you combine the entitlement attitude, racial animosity, and the Taker mentality with political correctness, you have a wicked brew. Its a very corrosive and destructive force that is taking a heavy toll on the economy.

What this slacker needs is a kick to the butt and a “suck it up, butter cup”. And then a swift dismissal of his frivolous lawsuit, this is worse than the infamous “I spilled hot coffee on myself” lady.

They always forget our napkins in the drive-through. Many times they also forget our straws.

"We" aren't thin skinned. I'm a white male heterosexual gun owning Christian. I've watched my 2nd Amendment rights eroded. I've watched the country I love overrun by diseased, and disease spreading, faggots. I've watched more credence given to a bunch of death worshipping stone aged raghead savages. And my gender has been endlessly attacked and ridiculed.

"We" aren't thin skinned.

The "black" man, on the other hand, has become unbelievably petulant and spoiled these last 50 years. "They" are very thin skinned.
