The Full Monty Python: Snake Devours a Crocodile… Whole

Crocodiles have a fairly fearsome reputation in the wild, including via videos of them eating unsuspecting buffalo, fighting with sharks and even grappling with sharks.

But this weekend it was time for another representative of the animal kingdom to fight back.

Onlookers in Australia’s Outback were shocked to witness a 10ft snake, believed to be a python, strangle a crocodile for five hours and then devour it in one piece.

‘It was amazing,’ Tiffany Corlis told the BBC. ‘We saw the snake fighting with the crocodile – it would roll the crocodile around to get a better grip, and coil its body around the crocodile’s legs to hold it tight.

‘After the crocodile had died, the snake uncoiled itself, came around to the front, and started to eat the crocodile, face-first,’ she added.

The snake was ‘definitely very full,’ when it finished, she said. ‘I don’t know where it went after that – we all left, thinking we didn’t want to stick around!’

The amazing encounter happened at Lake Moondarra, near Mount Isa in Queensland, the Australian state that is home to some of the world’s deadliest snakes and crocodiles.

I’m getting too old for adventures like that, mate. Thank your lucky stars that the croc didn’t attack. Livin in Florida, I’m never more than a couple of miles from a gator. I got in trouble a few years ago when I took my granddaughter into the Glades. There was about a 6-footer on the side of the road. I had my granddaughter’s mom take a pic of us bracketing the brute. That evening the pic was all over the net, and many of my family and friends chided me for taking the child that close. The Gators where we were are so docile, I could’ve kicked him in the ribs and all he would’ve done was hiss then slither back into the swamp. I’d never try that with the tamest croc. I was swimming once in the Zambesi River. Too many crocs there for pleasurable swimming.

There are some things even a python won’t ‘Sink’ to, and neither will a gator. A ‘croc will give her a pass based on professional courtesy.

Asking dumb animals to undo the results of generations of Democrats in the Pooblik Skrewl Hives is tantamount to animal cruelty. How many of those nasty things can a snake or a gator eat?

As for the “worthless” found in python or gator habitats, most of them are on two feet, jack booted feet at that, and wearing ill fitted attire mandated by their agencies, and paid for by us.

A friend killed several pythons at my place, including a 14’ one. However, even had it been teamed with the 17’ one killed a mile or so away, they could not cull the herd in even one AgencyPerson lair, AKA “Agency Office”. After all, digestion does take some time and these reptiles evolved in a time and place where food was not available 24/7/365.

It will be up to us to cull the herd of commies/liberals. The vote is cheaper than ammo, assuming the vote is still both honestly cast and honestly counted. Based on the past, “Chad” and his Democratic enablers may return.

Tomorrow does not look promising.
