Michael Ross: Was Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 headed for Asia’s Twin Towers?
National Post ^ | March 10, 2014 | Michael Ross

Last November, I flew out of Kuala Lumpur on a flight to China on a Boeing 777. It was a smooth, uneventful flight that left on time — a delightfully common occurrence in this part of the world.

It was dark, and I recall gazing out my window at the dazzling image of Kuala Lumpur below. I particularly remember seeing the massive, 88-floor Petronas Twin Towers glowing amidst the landscape of the city.

This memory came back to me when I heard about the disappearance of Malaysian Airways flight MH370, and subsequent reports that the missing Beijing-bound jet may have turned back toward Kuala Lumpur before vanishing, 40 minutes into its flight. The flight had entered Vietnamese airspace by the time the plane crashed. Were it experiencing a technical issue, the pilots would have continued north toward nearby Ho Chi Minh Airport.

The chief of the Malaysian Air Force is quoted as saying in a crowded press conference that, “The military radar indicated that the aircraft may have made a turn back and in some parts, this was corroborated by civilian radar.”

I’m having a difficult time remember the exact date for this airline departure. Am thinking (without looking it up) was March 8 but have been wrong before. And please excuse my prior post to you. T’weren’t funny.

I once looked up 9/11 and there were several very important things on that date (among them the Battle of Vienna!) and since mo’s followers have been pestering the rest of the planet for 1500 years, I am sure that there is a grievance that matches every day of the calender year.

Here’s an interesting theory. I read an article on the “Mirror” regarding the Iranian “Ali” who is supposed to have purchased the two tickets. Both of those guys with stolen passports were booked on to European locations which are pretty major airport hubs to to North American flights.

Other than some silly alleged Chinese group, no one has come forward as a logical perpetrator, should this be a terrorist act. The Mirror articles quotes a Malaysian government official as stating that false passport holders with explosives have been detained several times.

If this Asian region is a place to acquire the stolen passports, may it also be the place to acquire the explosives. I would suppose the shoes need to be sized and fitted. It “could be assumed”, these guys were on the way to a western European hub to fly to North America, but one of them had a early detonation. (Not the first time). It would seem strange that Iran would blow up a plane with Chinese citizens on route to China. They are rather close. Anyway, just a theory...

That is/was a Great Thought. Am willing to say you are correct and if you aren't islam will find a way to prove you correct. No doubt here.

Have seen initially that the travel agent was going to book to Qatar Airlines (sp?) but that flight became unavailable. May not mean anything but wonder where the other flight (the one not booked but was initial to be the flight but was removed by airline) was going?

The plane took off at 12:21am and flew 2 hours when it disappeared.

It took off at 00:41. The transponder signal was lost at 01:22, when it was at 6.920833, 103.578611. So, whatever happened or started happening, took place 41 minutes in, not two hours.

One report did mention 100 miles north of Ho Chi Mien City of a plane or meteor going down that night.

Hundreds of miles north of the airplane's last known position.

The plane disappeared after 40 minutes, not two hours.

Getting more interesting. .so now reports that the plane was tracked several hundreds miles after going coms dark..and from the east coast of Malaysia to the west coast of Malaysia..not to the nearest airport...its sounding like a hijack at minimum and more likely headed to a target..911 style
