I don’t mean to bash McDonald’s. They provide a service by offering cheap meals for workers. They have tasty fries and decent chicken sandwiches. But come on, do you really need to know what I mean by low-quality when discussing McDonald’s meat-broth-burgers?

I assume you mean taste. I’m not a fan my own self.

But taste has remarkably little to do with nutritional value.

“You’d think the poor would be the thinnest because liberals always claim that they don’t have any money for food.”

These are the low information voters on food stamps. Not enough of them in the Red States to turn them Blue. Any thoughts on what percentage might be Holder’s People?

Surprised the heck out of me, too. Sweet home, Alabama! Not the fattest anymore, anyhow!

The McChicken is only $1. That’s all I’ll eat there, burger-wise. I wouldn’t go at all, but my kids are nuts for it. Still, they only get to go a time or two a month.

Yes, and rural blacks throughout the South, sadly. I think Mississippi has the highest percentage or rural blacks.

He attributed it to cold nasty winters where everyone just grazes for 5 months at a time

There's also a related theory that obesity in the south is caused by air conditioning. Back in the old days, it was too hot to eat much of the frequently heavy southern diet for a good chunk of the year.
