I think next year Fox is going to put some of the Cup races on FS1 to give their “new” network more visibility.
Last night they were able to run their (lame) cartoon shows on network and still broadcast the race.
Here’s some non-wacky tabaccy stuff -
On Sunday Danica Patrick finished ahead of JJ, Earnhardt, Joey Lagano & Kurt and Kyle Busch.
Turns out the flagman in the box accidentally leaned on the caution light switch to activate them with a couple of laps to go. Oops - which is what my season has been so far.
I’m no big fan of Danica but anybody who can run top 20 in a Cup car at Bristol gets my respect as a driver. There was some serious racing last night for sure.
It surprised me when I looked at the final finishing order . I figured Danica would be at her best on a longer less challenging track and short tracks would be her nemesis - maybe she’s getting the hang of it. Time will tell.
I’m at the mercy of the rain God’s / changing networks as I normally record then watch the race after it’s completed. I can record two channels at the same time but was clueless they’d go to FS-1. Maybe next time.
Based on her respectable record in the Indy 500 (6 top 10s in 7 starts) her strength is in decent finishes more than raw speed.
Hey Dale!
Are you still drag racin’ on some local stretch?
Haven’t been drag racing since we built the Cobra for Dennis Wilson in 66.
Just do custom cars and car shows now.
Let me know if one of your cars get near Nebraska, okay?
Hope all is well with you, kid!!!
Hey! Did you take my Blue Glue and not tell me? I need it back ‘cause I’m adding some irrigation lines & outlets before I charge the system. Mama’s mad at you cause I told her you took it. Bad tubebender.
On a side note I was looking at (zillow) property for sale in the area where that Oregon perp was shot dead yesterday. Yikes! Houses are expensive around Ft. Bragg.
