A Smyrna woman has been charged with murder after police say she admitted lacing her husband's steroid injections with antifreeze.
State police say 44-year-old Jamie Baker was arrested on Thursday and charged with first-degree murder in the death of her husband, 42-year-old James Baker.

Look at her pic at the article. That’s some hard-used-up 44 year old woman. I suspect she’s got a drug problem, and wanted insurance money.
Daily Mail scoops the story, pictures of the husband, apparently he was a weightlifting type or something like that. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2581481/Married-mother-two-admits-killed-weightlifter-husband-poisoning-steroids-anti-freeze-just-months-pining-love-Facebook.html
Menopause + drugs = who knows what.
Jeez, she is an ungly son of a bitch.
Do not click on the article for her picture! What has been seen cannot be unseen!
Let the damn woman go!
Don't you guys realize how cold it got in Delaware this winter? OK, she wasn't much of a pharmacologist ... jes' tryin' to hep her old man out.
Also, bein' from Delaware, she is related to Joe Biden, everyone there is. Genetics being as they are, that's gotta be worth something. Suspended sentence. Release for time served? $50 bail. Something!
The fluorescent green color didn’t give it away?
Thank You, my eyes feel much better!
To be fair, so it is sometimes said women like muscles, the guy has muscles (maybe largely from the steroids), maybe he was checking out other women, the wife becomes jealous and this happens.
Apparently he was injecting as well. Bad situation all the way around.
Somebody been putting methamphetamine in Momma's Ovaltine. That face! Twenty-mile of dirt road in a hailstorm! 44 goin on 104. Ouch. This coulda been justifiable suicide.
Maybe. Maybe an abuse victim too. I don’t buy homicide as a first option to escape abuse by the way, but steroids using husband with that wife’s face... We’ll see.
I expect she will find prison more congenial than the matrimonial domicile.
“Jamie’s got a...gallon of Prestone.
Jamie’s got a...gallon of Prestone.
Her whole world’s come undone.
What did her daddy do?
It’s Jamie’s last IOU...”
“That’s a man baby”...
She just didn’t want him to overheat after working out.
After looking at her, I’d say the guy has been brought sweet relief in death.
Bless you Chode, that really helps ease the eye damage!
Her face looks like tobacco road thats been used by a 20 mule team for about thirty years!
Wifey could sure use a makeover. We can’t know what kind of an idiot her husband was maybe abusive, maybe not. But an abusive guy on steroids could have been dangerous.
Steroids are terrific!!! I was stung by a whole swarm of wasps, swelling was incredible, doctor finally gave me a six-day course of steroids when nothing else worked. I now understand why people will go to great lengths to get them. NEVER felt stronger, more energetic in my life .
My adult daughter and her friend came to Seattle that weekend to shop for formal dresses for the Christmas office party, and they could NOT keep up with me as I leapt tall buildings .LOL
Anyway, putting antifreeze in steroids sounds like premeditated murder to me.
Why did I never see that one after a helen t. pic?
You’re on a roll, or is that a muffin?
From the article: The 42-year-old man was a competitive weightlifter who worked as an environmental specialist at the DuPont Experimental Station. He and Jamie were married for 21 years.
From the pics at the link, he's 42, looks 30, handsome and in excellent physical shape. She's 44, but her face looks like that of a 60 year old.
I'm guessing she realized that he could dump her and easily replace her with a cute 20-something women, and couldn't deal with it. Or perhaps it was for the insurance money.
