Mapped: The 634 runways where missing Malaysia Airlines plane could have landed
Daily Mirror UK ^ | March 15, 2014 | By Steve Robson

These are the 634 runways where the missing Malaysia Airlines plane could have landed after a potential hijacking.

Today Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak said investigators believe flight MH370's disappearance is the result of 'deliberate action' by someone on the plane.

During a dramatic press conference, he said satellite evidence showed the aircraft's transponder was turned off and it change direction shortly before it vanished.

Gotta love Islamic nations with western civilizations hi tech security devices to protect them against Christian “terrorists” aka ministers. Their sole focus is Christians and jews, not even bothering to look at their fellow muslims.

This is just one of those examples.

We need to stop giving them technologies and allowing them to leave their islam induced turd world countries! Leave them them and let them steep in their own crap!

Its too bad more muslims do not recognize the failings in Islam.

It would be nice if they gave their parameters for the runways on the list. Planes can land on runways a lot shorter than the specifications call for, if safety margins aren’t a consideration. Same thing with range - are they talking about maximum cruising range, or to the last drop range?

Except that if the plane had landed successfully, ACARS would have sent a message to Rolls Royce saying that the engines had been powered off. The SATCOM system was never disabled, nor was ACARS. Rolls Royce only expected three messages during this flight and they received two of them: takeoff thrust and initial cruise climb completed.

Here's my ponderings...Having rendered the passengers "helpless" (gas), they landed, removed the passengers, (I won't say what happened to them) and hopped a small plane (4 of them). Guys are doing cleanup, disposing of the 777 and the passengers.

I think we're talking suitcase bomb...maybe more than one.

Go back to the airport and talk to everyone that was working at the terminal. Look at pictures for something out of whack.

They're going to be hopping small planes and boats until they get to their point of delivery.

I think I have a possible target after refitting the a/c...the Petronias Towers, very large will do a lot of damage when hit esp. if a/c is full of explosives or small nuke or other WMD’s. The a/c would not need a full fuel load to reach them, but the mix of jet fuel to air would make a large explosion/burn upon impact. The towers do a lot of business with the “Western World” , making it one big fat target.

Najib said Saturday that the Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System, or ACARS, was disabled just as MH370 reached the eastern coast of Malaysia. The transponder was then switched off, Najib said, as the aircraft neared the border between Malaysian and Vietnamese airspace.

Think the’r area is WAY too small

Per new reports this morning, the plane continued its flight for about 7 hours (rather than 5 hours as reported on previous days).

That extra 2 hours could certainly have put it 1,000 miles further, assuming it had fuel.

People! A little sanity please!

Applying Occam’s Razor, the most simple explanation is that it was aliens, therefore this is the most likely explanation.

These unlikely conspiracies blaming mechanical failures and terrorism are truly signs of ignorant and scared people.

This forum could use a little more rationality.

Thank you.

>>>If they stayed at altitude - but they didn't.

You don't know that. All we know is it dropped for a little while. Once they are out of radar range, given the level of planning demonstrated, I'm sure they went back up to altitude.

Do don't have this level of planning and fail to figure in range. No need to fly low over the Indian Ocean where no radar can see you.

Technically yes. But were they carrying enough fuel to go that far? That is the question.

Plus I pretty sure that their satellite pinging system stopped in much shorter time than it would take to get as far as Somalia. That most likely means they crashed when over land or water or landed at some remote landing strip. Perhaps one prepared just for this mission.

Maybe this aircraft was carrying a few hundred million in gold. Or uranium.

Solved! IMO

Why did it take a week to publicly mention those pings?

Needed time to find some way to cover up what happened?

China intercepted missing Malaysian flight? Beijing enacted strict new rules for airliners over disputed sea

My comment: Golly gee. We searched everywhere around China and it wasn't there. We will never know what happened. So move on.

(The www.wnd.com is NOT saying that Red China shot it down but given their "rules" for aircraft in the area.. they could have shot it down. The killings of 60 million-plus Chinese citizens by the Communist Party of China were contemporaneous events for me.. so I imagine the PRC shrugs. "What's another three hundred or so?". But they and their cheap-labor-lovin', free-tradin' useful idiots still want it covered up.)

Inmarsat the company that provides the Internet broadband via satellites to the airplane actually know the plane's whereabout.  But people at Inmarsat may be forbidden to disclose information per the NDA's they signed, except for their CEO.

Of course of that set, a large number would/could be assumed to call up and say “Hey we got a spare 777 that just landed” regardless of whether whoever was in charge of the craft let anyone on board say anything to anyone.

And any nation in charge of a runway that didn’t do that when it landed would “have some splainin to do”.

Wondering why nothing is said about what was in the cargo and how much fuel was loaded into flight 370 before takeoff. Might have been more fuel than usual. Has anyone heard of these reports — if any.

Say, JH, I personally never go anywhere in my luxo-yacht without my trusty *EPIRB, which is supposed to go off all by itself if I founder. I also have one on my PFD Harness gizmo (small fortune that bit'o'gear).

Don't airliners have EPIRBs? I really don't know. But airliners, among others, are precisely what are supposed to pick up my beacon in case of disaster. So if this rig splashed, their EPIRB would go off, right?

*E mergency P ersonal I nternational R adio B eacon (or something real close). Little red thing, strobe on top'o'mine, too. Batteries supposed to last 72 hours.

The 777 doesn’t need 7000 ft to land 3500 would be workable with light load.

Great Graphic for the 777-200 but MH370 was a 777-200ER(extended Range)

B777-200ER

7,725 nautical miles
(14,305 km)
Typical city pairs:
London - Los Angeles
Tokyo - Sydney
Chicago - Seoul

Airliners take off with sufficient fuel to reach the destination plus a reserve for diversions. Somebody wrote that there is extra reserve at night. But they aren’t fueled to max if the destination isn’t at max aircraft range. So the radius probably doesn’t include Somalia.
