Astronomers can tell you all you might want to know about the solar eclipse that will be visible in the US on September 14, 2099. (Personally, I'm more interested in the one on August 21, 2017.)

Next month there will be a total eclipse of the moon visible from the US. From the moon, the sun will be eclipsed by a space rock approximately 8,000 miles in diameter.

I’m going to guess that the mundane astrologers will view this as meaning the death of a king or great leader, it’s a so-called royal star in the constellation Leo.

Yes, I imagine the ancients would have flipped out if they had been looking there at just the exact moment of any previous occultations.
