What is really, really creepy is that whenever a story like this appears the gay mafia tries to discredit any which way they can. They are relentless in pushing their agenda on the rest of us. Please note the comments after the article.
I belonged to an American Legion Post that had a female ex Army, was a member of the Fire Dept (think she was Chiefs Driver at the time). Turned out she was Lesbian.
This back in late 80’s, early 90’s, and she and her partner took to ‘hanging out’ at the Legion. NO PDA’s or hand holding, mostly acted like any other couple that came in.
I knew the ‘guy’ part of the team and got around to asking her why they decided the Legion was their ‘spot’...She told me that WE were more friendly and accepting to her(them), none of the usual snide remarks they picked up from ‘regular’ bars and not really many stares....
Of course ‘they’ as a group were not quite as idiotic acting like they are now -

Sounds like an opening line for a joke but its punch line is too politically incorrect for the most of the mainstream press to touch.
Of course that story can be most of us, different time, place and circumstances.
I did trust God but not Christ. I was confused also about the purpose of God too. But then things cleared up when realizing that it was sin which blinded me and created doubt, sin in the heart prevented me from being fully fulfilled in all things instead of a drink or a plant, and sin was what blinded me from Justice, the bigger picture, history, intergenerational care as witnessed in the Bible and that the arrogant is ignorant.
The specialties lifestyle are for animals, which are either peeved or tamed without understanding.
Christians are not shocked because they know they themselves are/were sinners... that guilt is ludicrous when you are cheating no one but yourself, that cheating is really copying just as brainwashing is, and that God is not at all that. It is more than an education but a fulfillment from within of the capacity of his Spirit within ever flowing never needing to drink again.
Sorry, this smacks of the proverbial “ missionary who ran over one son while rushing the other to the hospital,” nonsense.
Oh I have no doubt there really was a lesbian who became a believer, (and didn’t I see that lurid rape scene on Lifetime) but I question the passivity the author seems to celebrate.
Our job in these situations is to remember to love the sinner while abhorring the sin. Remember that Christ chose to sit with the sinners, how else could he lead them back to God?
C S Lewis wrote of this very well in the ‘Screwtape Letters’ and other writings, when he describes how to destroy the church community is by magnifying the differences and personal peeves rather than by remembering that we all come to Christ for our own individual souls and salvation!
It’s just terrible when Christians don’t live up to the stereotypes liberals place upon them. You mean a Christian church welcomes gays and sinners? Say it ain’t so.
They never try this stuff in mosques... Hmmm.
