I’m going to your article next, which is more in line with what I think. How in the heck can the sun, which is like millions of miles away, have ANYTHING to do with our climate. All this bad climate crap has only started since we started flying airplanes in our OWN atmosphere. Now...off to read your article about all the damage those jet streams have done.

The researchers suggest that when solar activity is low the winter jet stream over the North Atlantic is more likely to get blocked. (Which means vast tongues of cold arctic air stretch far to the south, and someone somewhere, gets freaky and not-nice weather.)
