Theory: Terrorists kidnapped Zaharie's wife and kids, coercing him to steal the plane

Well, what do you think, FReepers? I know the speculation is exhaustive but I've not seen nor heard any information regarding MH-370 pilot Zaharaie Shah's wife and children other than them reportedly moving out one day prior to the day of the flight. I think this could be a key clue in the plane's disappearance, hence my theory.

Wouldn't photos and video of his wife be plastered throughout the media?.. and interviews? Where's the interviews?

Easy to debunk. Just find the wife and kids. Are you sure they are actually missing?

You would think the media would be trying to get some quotes from the family, so far I have seen none.

Theory. Armed US satellite can fry electronics from space. A message was being sent to China and Russia to knock off the expansionism talk.

Looks like they moved on their own. This pilot would be my main suspect.

I wondered the same thing when I first heard the family moved out the day before the flight. Where do they say the husband/Dad went? But there is nothing I have found so far that indicates that anyone has seen or spoken to the family, only that the house was searched.

I have heard nada about where they went. Has anyone? The lack of this news is odd. I give this new option some cred.

Better theory is that somebody wants those 20 Malaysian computer experts who were on that plane or wants whatever info he can torture out of them.

It is easy to understand that the family would want to avoid the news media at this time, so you would expect them to go into hiding.

However, the news media should be sitting on their front steps waiting for them to appear.

The fact that they are not would seem to mean that they don’t know where they are.

A very interesting question.

There are three possible scenarios..because the plane did NOT crash..no one flies a plane deliberately at 5,000 feet trying to be undetectable to radar for NO reason..so its three choices..either the plane was taken for the plane itself, the plane was hijacked because they wanted someone ON the plane, or the plane was hijacked for the contents of the cargo hold..that would be the least of the theories that makes sense since really, what could be so important in the cargo hold that it would be worth all of this

The word 'missing' is sometimes used, but generally no details whatsoever on her having moved out.

Here is a YouTube tribute video posted by his niece or nephew but not his wife or one of his three kids:

At the end of the video he is referred to as "Uncle Ari".

At what were they expert?

In this day and age, there are thousands of computer experts, only a few of which know anything worth this activity.

And how many of those are Malaysians?

Ive read that they were divorced or in the process of one and that the family owned more than one house. Who knows? Given that it took a week for Malay authorities to even search the pilot’s house, I have no hope of hearing from the wife anytime soon.

Some reports said that the pilot had already devorced and was just living with the wife and three kids, then she ultimately moved out the day before the flight.

I was curious if the pilot had invested his retirement in Malaysian Airline stock, you know these plans where an employee buys two shares and gets one free. (Remember he’s a flying enthusiast, might he put all his eggs there?). If he had invested he’s seen the stock price lose 92% in five years. Retirement gone.

Add to that his political hero getting convicted of sodomy the day before the flight.

All that might equal the pilot having a mental breakdown.

Search Google for "gold in cargo hold". LOL It never stops. My theory suggests the pilot stole the aircraft under duress because he was blackmailed/coerced into doing so by the kidnappers of his wife and kids.

His wife and kids 'moving out' one day prior is a big clue, no?

The expertise in question involved computer chips used in US weapon systems, as I read it...

I’m also weighing new evidence that the “Alright, goodnight” sign-off is the co-pilot’s voice, not the pilots. I suppose that’s not unusual though..

Electronic warfare semiconductors, to be precise. A valuable bunch.
